  • Well I seem to have completely neglected my diary!!
What started off positively turned into a bit of a wobble. Ended up spending some money on the car insurance credit card which meant that after paying some off and then adding to it I now have more on there than what I started with. Bad bad news. The card has now been cut into tiny little pieces so that I can only pay off the insurance and not add to it.

Have been much better than normal with the general shopping though. Am slowly working my way through all of my unused toiletteries and make up so no visits to boots, and the children I teach have topped up the stockpile quite nicely! Have hardly bought any clothes as well and even managed to go into Primark today and ONLY buy the boots that I went in there for. Queueing at the till was agonising as I looked around spotting lots of lovely things but I walked out with my head held high.

I have decided that 2011 is going to be THE year and if I succeed in banishing my money demons then perhaps I could twist the OHs arm for some baby making in 2012!

  • Thanks Shoe Gal!
Who knows....the car insurance might actually finally pay out the £2500+ they owe me! If only my bloody solicitor would pull his finger out of his ar.se and actually send the letters he keeps saying he has sent me.

  • Have done a little bit of online sale shopping....completely avoiding the shops this year!

Think I have done reasonably well this year considering my usual shopaholic ways. Ordered a pair of trousers from DP for work, and a top for work (in 2 sizes) so at least one will be going back.

Spent about £69 on fashiounion sale, but all on stuff that I had been looking at all season and really wanted, so I am pleased that I held off and got massive reductions :T

Normally I just go mad and trawl my way through all the clothing sale sites to find anything to buy, so I am pleased that I remained so focussed this year!
