Hi Freebie!
I don't want to give you all the same advice again but I will second the fact that feeding him to sleep at this early stage should not (IMHO) be a problem at all. I fed Benjamin to sleep for ages, then he started to come off the boob before he fell asleep, then I started transferring him back to his own bed once he had finished his feed and we progressed to a reasonably well sleeping baby (until recently but that has nothing to do with me feeding him to sleep LOL!)
Do try to feed laying down - it makes life so much easier!! Also are you using a cushion to support his weight? You don't need anything fancy, we just used a feather pillow from the spare bed!
Give the BF cafe a call before you make the treklots of them do close down for half term.
And finally - I have a RL mummy friend who successfully BF her son well past his first birthday using only one boob...so it can be done....
....she did used to walk in circles though:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
(weighed down by one heavy boob for anyone who doesn't get my joke!!)please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Omg Tia, hope you're ok, she's probably a bit in shock and a bit hurt too. Sit down and have some cuddles with her. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXToo many children, too little time!!!0

Gina Ford is a nutter and I have yet to meet a baby who has read her book. Probably because babies have taste.
Her methods may work for some but generally, your routine does sound normal. Babies are babies not robots. He will settle down into a more predictable routine when he is ready, but for now go for what is the easier option for you and enjoy his baby hood. Pretty soon he will be walking away from you and eating crayons.0 -

Tara, she is fine now. Walking about the place (she finally has that walking nailed) looking for mischief. She has a cup of juice at the sofa and one next to me so she is walking backwards and forwards taking a drink from each of them.
Oh also, deperation has made Chris eat an apple with the skin still on! Wow! He can eat them like that and doesn't die (as he would have you beleive).0 -
There's been a really bad accident here today, road's closed. The pedestrian involved has lost his leg.

Thanks for explaining that joke Mfd
Tia, are you OK? I'm sure Amber is fine, just a little scared but she'll get over it and she won't even remember by bed time! I fell with Aimee in my arms once, tripped up some stairs and her back caught the next step up... I've never felt so bad in my life!! But she got over her shock, and she wasn't hurt too much
I'm a bit pee'd off... I always walk my friends daughter home because her son gets bought back on the school bus and it always clashes... Anyway, it started raining today when I was at the school, plus I have a dire rear so I spent the whole time clenched just in case... Walked the girls up the hill and when we got to my friends house her ex husband was there with his wife... Either of them could have fetched their daughter from school and I have someone else that had already offered to fetch Aimee because of the weather that I'd turned down because of my "obligation" to walk my friends daughter back... Bah... People get on my wick!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
