Where are you off to tonight MFD? can you get a sleep this afternoon?

We are off to see Sean Lock, the comedian. I am picking Benjamin up at 5.15pm and MIL will be here around 6pm so doubt I will be able to sneak a nap in. Still, at least I am working from home so I don't need to be too on the ball ;)

  • Ohh MFD, that sounds good! I like Sean Lock, hope you have fun.
Emlou - sorry to hear about your cat and hope him and you are both feeling better soon.
Buttons - how are you now, hope you're feeling better, that sounded nasty last night?
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
  • Has anybody seen any toddler halloween costumes?

We are going to a party on Sunday 24th which I would like Benjamin to dress up for...and then he can wear it again for his pre-school on the Friday before halloween and then again on the night (getting my moneys worth!)

I have had a quick look but a lot of them seem to be aimed at babies...he is a bit big for a babygrow type costume now.

    What is everyone else doing?

A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Michelle, she is soooo cute! Lovely pics!

SS, fairies arrived and I had german biscuits for breakfast. Yours is packaged up and will be posted today and I'm very sorry for being so lazy... no excuse bar lazyness. Biscuits were yummy! mmmmmm.....

MFD, asda/tesco/that S one have smaller sized of costumes, you just have to rummage.

em, hope you feel better soon. It's not a sickie, if youy went to work you would feel pants for far longer so it's really being sensible.

Aless, that does suck about the job. But did the place advertise it internally? They are supposed too but most don't. Then what happens is staff see it and can then cause a lot of problems so the employer has to then cover thier backs and interview them even if the deadline is past. Or else they can be in deep doodoo. Only know that because my old work did it. Advertised a management position elsewhere but not internally. A few of us only found out when folk started coming in for interviews. Then the had to dig their selves out of crap when one of the girls called UCAS. Hope you get it though.
  • When Amelie was that age I dressed her in a black spider outfit from Tesco - I've just been looking through my photos trying to find a pic, but I don't seem to have any :(

Hi everyone. Yeah I feel better today thankfully! The nausea went away about midnight last night, I drank some fat flat coke and some dry toast and managed to keep it down. I think I ate some bad undercooked chicken the day before, I was cooking it and a bit fell out the pan and I just ate it thinking it was cooked but I remember a jelly like texture _pale_

Em - Cats, who'd have em. Scruffy is such a liability isnt he!

    Michelle - Gorgeous pics :D

Obviously I have no idea of knowing exactly what happened, but that's a possibility - it was advertised on just about job site there is! Or it could be like what happened to me in that my work didn't tell me about vacancies while I was on mat leave...*shrug*

Just got back from town and discovered Waitrose sell chai latte drink mix *nomnomnomnom*.

Aldi don't have any Lebkuchen yet, SS, I may have to offer you a fairy trade if I get desperate!

  • Afternoon all. I'm glad you're feeling a bit better BM. Lovely piccies Michelle, I miss having a proper actual baby. and :rotfl:at Caz breaking the bed :rotfl:.

We've had fun at messy play (although it wasn't very messy today), but now I've got clingy mcclingson attached to me again. I'm hoping I can get away with getting her to have a nap in her bed today because someone is moving into one of the flats and hogging the lift. The buggy is in the car, but if we go for a wander I will just have to keep wandering until she wakes up again rather than coming back in and getting on with stuff. Not the end of the world, but I have washing up to do and I want to bake a cake.
