3 - did you do any research into how to get into a school out of area in the end or were you just thinking out loud about it?
I've not really looked into it, other than it seems as simple as next year when we do our choice for Secondary schools, we can include the out of area one. I'm not sure if it works differently for big school, are little schools more picky about catchment areas?
When L started school we'd only just moved to this area so I put her down for the closest three, one I didn't like, one was catholic and the furthest one away was the one I did like. We got offered all three so I got to choose my favorite.Keep making a fool of myself today, roll on tomorrow lol!
I've probably missed you now, but want to know what you've been doing. I do like to hear about other people doing stupid things. :rotfl:Buttonmoons wrote: »Oh did someone mention hairy backs earlier? Keira seems to have a gorilla trail from the bottom of her neck down her back. Cause she is dark haired it's quite obvious. Will that ever go away or will she be destined to back wax's
I do worry that L will need a back wax if she ever wears anything low cut when she's older.

Schools are all down to numbers 3, they start with catchment + siblings, then catchment, then out of catchment with siblings by postcode, then out of catchement by postcode. So they input your postcode and work out who is closest. Children in care and with special needs take priority and shouldn't be included in numbers. Unless it's a church school then church attenders are supposed to get priority.Too many children, too little time!!!

EA, while you're there, I saw on the cake thread that you bake with trex, is it better than stork then? I like stork but it seems to take a bit longer for the cakes to actually set in the middle.Mummy to

KK - write a letter of complaint to practice manager..... she sounds like a total spack
Im tempted now with baby rice, but i dont have anything to sit him up in yet, so feeding him it is going to be a 'mare....
It's probably not recommended, but I used F's bouncy chair until my nice new highchair turned up today.

I only use the trex in the buttercream as it makes it white and not yellow. It also makes it that bit 'stiffer' so it doesn't flop down
Im out of trex and only asda seem to sell it, i bought something similar in Tesco but it makes the icing greasy _pale_0 -

But i dont get it :rotfl:0 -
Does it not taste a bit funny though? I actually dont like the taste of buttercream, I find it too sickly, so if that makes it less sickly I'd be quite happy :rotfl:Mummy to
