James didn't want to go to school this morning. Said he had a headache and sore throat. Gave him some paracetamol and some money to buy some throat sweets at the shop next to the bus stop.

Had texts while he was on the bus saying he was still feeling poorly, but heard nothing since.

Feel like a big mean Mammy, but think he's just trying it on because of the issue with the other boy :o

Must get some revision done, but fancied a rare cup of coffee in peace without having to jump off the chair every two seconds.
Here I go again on my own....

It was raining here this morming but has brightened up now which is nice.

We're still all grotty and I'm getting bored of it now.

Lovely pics in the last couple of days, off to look for videos now too.

OMG Alfie is trying to climb onto the sofa  He's stood at it cocking his leg right up. I'm glad he's so small so he can't actually get on it.

Sugar I'm glad you managed to get some good bargains yesterday, would have been a hell of a trip just to window shop!

Well done Mr 3 and good news MDW :)

We need to put Lilys cot down. Its on the highest setting at the moment and she keeps pulling herself up. I can just see her flipping over the top and onto us!

I had a dream last night that i had my scan at Sainsburys and it was twins :rotfl:

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Were they on BOGOF?

And boo to babba bruises. I expected Alfie to have one somewhere this morning as he started proper crying about 11pm just as I was about to go to bed. Feeding only just calmed him down but I didn't actually put the light on to see if there was anything wrong. Did wonder if he'd tried to stand in his sleeping bag and fallen or something.

I'm sick of my house being a tip. Let's just see how long I can stick with it.

A freecycler finally turned up. Timewasting idiots  I gave her everything cos i'm sick of waiting around for no-shows.

I mean, how flipping rude. I wouldn't dream of doing that.

I gave her my "I love my bear" moses basket and wooden stand. I cba selling it on ebay cos there was a few faults. I loved that basket. I want another teeny :(

And I think quite often younger children have their needs met/entertainment provided by older ones so don't need to talk as quick - someone was telling me that but I can't remember who.

I think i've heard that too, and would agree with it. Why does V need to speak when she can just drag L around to do stuff for her. :rotfl:

Its my child free day today :D so i'm off to Halfords to collect L's new bike, then make space in the shed to hide it.

And maybe Asda to see if they still have some straighteners on half price that I saw last week. I've broken my GHD's :(, they still work but sound a bit electrically crackly. It'll save OH having to think about what to get me for my birthday, but I need something to keep me looking presentable until December.
