  • WM - we went roller skating at CP a few years ago (in my pre-Benjamin days) and I loved it!! I spent the first 15 mins helping DSS to skate and then the next 45 zooming around and turning around, skating backwards and generally showing off! :D

Glad you had fun today x

Som, Amber had a baby quilt form about 7 months old, when she moved into her cot. It was the only thing that would stay on her. And I see it as being just a blanket rather than an adult quilt. So long as she can roll about and move it off her face.

EA, thank you! I'm going to look for that paper next week. Do they wash well?

DH said I'm gross because I happened to mention that I gave Amber weetabix minis yesterday and when I changed her nappy 'there was still good eating in them' :rotfl: I thought it was funny....
  • Ooh, mine's good until 10th October... If I can find my family card anyway... Will they accept it without? Might investigate the website in a bit and see...

You can print a temp card out instore. I had to do it last week to use my voucher :o

Thanks. I think you would put me to shame though. :p. I thought Joe was going to throw a strop because he was absolute pants at first. I know i'm cruel. Took him a good hour but he didn't give up and he finally got it. Good job too because i've already bought him some roller blades for his birthday in december :o

WM - I love rollerskating and still have my big pro boots up in the loft, I keep saying to OH I should get them out as they'd help burn a few pounds.

EA - we have a lush thick rug down on our lounge floor and its a godsend! Eeek about the locking your selfs out and boo on the bmi front but am sure you'll be fine. Oh and agree Aqua is fabby, I met the lovely always and jenny there :D

becles - thanks am actually looking for one for myself but thats good for future referance.

    aless - cheescake looks nommylicious.

Think T has learnt to sit herself up cos I left her lying down earlier and turned my back for a moment and when I turned back she was up! think I need to lower the cot base now.

I know the guidlines say 12 months for duvets but has anyone here startted using one sooner? T loves the one on the bed and i wonder if she would sleep better with one when the temp drops a bit more, so around xmas.

Henry has a toddler duvet at the moment and he's not quite 1 yet. He seems fine with it. I'm not sure why they say 12 months, whether it's in case they overheat or in case they cover their face with it? Who knows....

Went to work, it was really busy but I am now of until Friday :j.

I can't really remember anything else!

Weezl, are you planning to have another one? Surely by the time Fergie was as old as Kester is now you were already pregnant again ;)
(dear God, I just checked your sig, I thought Kessie was only 3-4 months old!!)

I know! I'd be 14 weeks gone by now! yup kes is sitting up and on solids and only 3 ins shorter than ferg!

Actually the thought of it makes me think I was a bit mental, but it has obviously worked out ok for us so far :)

But I think we are happy as a 4 person family, tho obviously I will let you all know if we change our minds :D

Krystal, where did you get your pillow? X

Xfactor, !!!!!!! At least Matt, Rebecca and Cher are through.

I have a question and I could with some honest answers please.

I have had to make a very hard decision this week. I knew deep down I would have to do it and DH said it needed doing. However, because I found it tough I completely messed up how I did it, making it all much harder but only because I wasn't sure how to. However, the outcome was the right one, and I feel relieved, the question is do I go back and try and smooth how it happened or as it's over just leave it and move on.
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
