We did have her foam play mat down, but this house gathers so much dust it kept getting mukky.

Also people kept walking across it with trainers on so it would get crap from outside on it :mad:

I have escaped back in time to the late 80's today and gone roller skating. Joe was invited to a party at the roller rink and I just had to have a go. I didn't end up on my backside so that was a result and i actually had fun with my big boy, which is something that has been sadly lacking in my life. Alex was bopping and smiling away in his buggy too. Just a damn shame I had to bl00dy come home.

WM - I love rollerskating and still have my big pro boots up in the loft, I keep saying to OH I should get them out as they'd help burn a few pounds.

EA - we have a lush thick rug down on our lounge floor and its a godsend! Eeek about the locking your selfs out and boo on the bmi front but am sure you'll be fine. Oh and agree Aqua is fabby, I met the lovely always and jenny there

Think T has learnt to sit herself up cos I left her lying down earlier and turned my back for a moment and when I turned back she was up! think I need to lower the cot base now.

I know the guidlines say 12 months for duvets but has anyone here startted using one sooner? T loves the one on the bed and i wonder if she would sleep better with one when the temp drops a bit more, so around xmas.

Som, I think I gave Aimee a duvet a bit earlier... But the upstairs of my house was stoopid cold when she was a baby...

Tonight we gave Caitlyn her first pillow... She was completely underwhelmed... Incidentally, we put her in the cotbed yesterday... I decided not to put it on the lowest setting because she's never shown any interest in climbing out of the small cot... It's great though, very high so it's easy to bend over and give her a cuddle without lifting her up

Som i'm thinking that. A good few wizzes round the rink on a sunday afternoon and i could burn a few pounds and get some much needed exercise. My legs very well may disagree tomorrow though, i can feel the ache starting to kick in.

Oh i'm so not in the mood to put up with the tears on xfactor
