Also went looking at raincoats. All the nice one are way too much money tho, I vaguely remember someone saying they got a regatta one recently from their online outlet, which one did you get and is it any good? Oh and how's there sizing?

I got this one in purple for Charlotte, but unfortunately they are sold out now:
    http://www.regattaoutlet.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product3_16551_36872_-1_132756_13555

The sizing seems quite generous. She's tall for her age and I got size 3-4 but there is plenty of room in it. I'm hoping she might get next year out of it too!

We live on a hill and the wind can be really strong and icy cold in the winter, so I've found it's practical buying proper outdoor brands like Regatta as they are more weatherproof than supermarket/high street brand coats. Nursery play out in all weathers and I wanted her to be warm and dry.
Here I go again on my own....

    Hi Tara,

I'm fine, weekends are ok, there's not much I can do about the work situation. It's when the week rolls around I feel it, especially as there is so much to sort now.

DH is at work at 5am tomorrow, so my mum and dad are coming round in the morning, mum to take Katie to playgroup so I can be near the phone and dad is going to ring work for me.

I'm also hoping to go to a Bible Study Group in the morning, for a bit of company and as a distraction.

Just thinking about work gets my heart racing.

Now i feel _pale_ and i feel guilty as i told my MW earlier that i would work hard to reduce my BMI as its 35  and if its not lower by the time im 28wks, i need to go in for consultant care. :(
EA I'm confused how it will go down, cos even if you lose body fat, the baby and all your amniotic fluid will surely keep your weight the same despite really being lower IYSWIM?

Or is there an adjusted BMI chart for pregnancy?

Not sure, she said they would factor in normal weight gain. But Lily was massive before, so i hope they factor in large baby weight gain :D

I do walk everywhere, she did suggest aqua natal classes though.

    Thanks :)

I was being a bit old mother henish about you dieting, but I'm sure the midwives will give you good advice :)

I didn't realise 35 was the cut-off to midwife led care.

I did read that with our small gap, baby 2 tends to arrive a little early, which was true with kes, so fetal macrosomia wouldn't be too much of an issue as you might not go to 40 weeks IYSWIM?

Yes, well Lily arrived at term+3 so she wasn't hugely overdue. Im hoping for a similar thing.

The MW said to eat a range of foods and to make smaller portions but eat more times a day because of morning sickness, all i know is im never having McDonalds again. It tastes horrible and makes me be sick :( Its also a huge waste of money which has slightly annoyed me now.

I was never to sure of the cut off point, on our hospital tour when pregnant with Lily all they said is that over weight woman are high risk, so cant use the birthing centre and have to go to the main hospital.

I used to do Aqua Natal and I loved it :j:j

You also meet lots of other lovely mummies there...and being a 2nd timer the first timers will be all over you like a rash!!!

Benjamin was very good with his dinner this evening and ate some of his spaghetti with his fork :T:T although most of it he ate with his fingers!

He took my socks off earlier and I haven't got a clue what he has done with them!

He is currently singing to us over the monitor...I wonder if he has done a poo?

I told you that this was the best bit of advice Krystal ever gave me ;)

Krystal - I remembered this morning that I wanted to buy a little duvet and pillow from Ikea - fancy another trip sometime soon?
Ooh, I'm always up for Ikea [STRIKE]cake[/STRIKE]meatballs... Actually, I was thinking about you today... I have found out my £10 off voucher, but the 2 things I need to buy come to over £125... Shame they wouldn't fit in your car lol... With any luck my Mum will run me over tomorrow before Aimee finishes school... We're finally getting the girls a new chest of drawers and I've decided I need to do something about the overspilling toy box in the living room...

I thought I might have to put them on hold for a while longer, but my Mother has let us put a new dishwasher on her credit card so I can pay that off over a couple of months and we can still get the stuff we planned on...

Weezl, how small an age gap would you say? Is 22months too much of a gap to be hoping for an earlier delivery? I really don't want to go 9 days over this time!!!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

As much as i love that Lily is trying to stand up, i feel i need to wrap her in foam.

She has fallen over so many times today, even from sitting position and she keeps hitting the back of her head or hitting her face on the floor.

We need a rug me thinks :D
