Im v. happy, work have finally done something good! They paid my holiday pay and sent my p45. They sent it to my mums address though, so they aren't that great.

So for a treat i bought some Body Shop face wash. Well only because they were giving out empty pots for you to go in and fill up as a sample and i see something iw anted to buy. Then i was informed of a 3 for the price of 2 offer.

Im such a sucker for sales :o

And now we have money we can have something nice for dinner, we got a load of stuff from Iceland and now i cant even think about eating it, the thought makes me sick :(

Morning all wanted to say thanks to smartie re the seahorse as he was a bit unsettled after the midnightish feed but the luballies and seasounds helped drift him off. Have a dilema meant to have a docs appointment at 2ish but forecast is for heavy rain at the mo not sure can drive as had c section just under 5 weeks ago so would have to walk or catch bus, is a good 20 minute walk or 10 min for bus so will prob get soaked as maybe would baby. So do I drive, risk walking or cancel appointment for next week, will have to decide before lunch!!

    :T:D

Daisy was a little monkey last night... chatting away to her seahorse all blimin night!!:rotfl:No sleep here, DH got plenty. Me !!!

Well it's been just over 3 weeks since my section and to be honest if I was able to drive (failed test badly:o) I would have felt like driving a week or so ago;) I've been out walking, pushing Daisy etc etc for quite a while now... BUT I probably shouldn't of as my cut has got quite sore and as I mentioned yesterday a tiny tiny (and I do mean tiny:p) bit has opened slightly. I had not just a c-section done as well and I'm amazed at how well I've recovered:D And I have a reduced immune system, crohns etc etc so I'm VERY :j

Yay for feeling sick susan (in a nice way;)), hugs where needed... and I'm no where near an Ikea so am jealous of Ikea trips:(:p:p

SJ - Could the being sick thing, have something to do with Alfie being Snotty? He could have a build up of snot and grot in the morning and it's causing him throw the milk back up first thing?

Also hope Susan is sick for a very good reason.

oh I would agree with this as Thomas was sick twice on me yesterday and he hardly ever his, but he's just getting over a cold. eta sorry just seen your next post SJ :(

SJ - I like reading rants like that :) It's hearing about babies like Alfie that gives me the confidence to stick to my guns about Thomas :) Obviously if I feel the need to wean him in 2 weeks then I will...but I'm doing it coz I feel he needs it...not coz their weight charts tell me he does! I honestly don't feel he is ready yet though.

Bexta - sorry I meant to reply before. Thomas loves chewing his hands even now, but I would DEFINITELY recommend Sophie the giraffe. He absolutely adores her, his fsce lights up when he hears the squeak and then a huge grin when he sees her. She's the only teether he can comfortably manouvre around and use properly. When she first came she looked like something from the pound shop and DH peed himself laughing when he heard what I paid, but we are both in agreement that it was one of the best £11.88's I ever spent lol. TBH I wasted more than that buying other teethers that he doesnt use! Also it can drag on a really long time. T started teething at 3 months and still no sign of tooth!

    Yay for new prams CAFC

Do we think baby of the month is just a random draw? I didn't realise I had to email my details, I'll sort that out now.

I'm annoyed that the 3 people who commented on Stokke's status about winning baby show tickets appear to have won....when the status said nothing about commenting, just that you had to like it. I wouldnt be able to go even if I won, I'm just annoyed at the injustice lol.

I could have driven earlier than the 6 weeks but I was a bit nervous driving for the first time after my section, I had to drive in the end as I'd promised my niece a trip to the theatre when DD was 6.5 weeks old!

:rotfl: I meant to say earlier, I had an errand to run in a place I've not been before. I was heartily amused to find a street called Rimstingerstr. hehehe

Have been busy planning our next weekend away... Going to stay between Southport and Wigan to visit friends over there, the first week in November..

    Time: Lunchtime onwards
    Location: Fun2b in Warrington
