OMG!!!!!!!!! Just had a call from housing association offering me a 3 bed house on big bad main huge road. I said oh do you have nothing in xx estate and he said yes ok you can have no 1 xx walk :eek::eek:

    OMFG

It's a 2 min walk away from DS school, on the estate where i grew up and 20 seconds walk from mother. And as it's number 1 only 1 neighbour who i know and she is ok!!!

I don't know if it's guaranteed cos he's getting someone to ring me tomorrow but my mam said it's guaranteed if they've said that!!

Back to reality though : Can Beenie handle anymore decorating? LOL :rotfl:

The 2 bedrooms are box and it's electric night storage heating. No shower :p:(

    ^^ Those are the downsides

Upsides are better area (bit chavvy but i grew up there so not scared of anyone there lol), they are doing new kitchen and bathrooms soon apparently, bigger garden, extra bedroom albeit tiny.

I'm so EXCITED!!! I've put my noisy dryer on to celebrate HAHAHA

No! The only reason i've been offered this is cos my mam lives there and they are big on "community links", nothing to do with my neighbour situation. I am not going to dwell on the fact i didn't apply sooner  But it's done now and i didn't expect to get offered a house within days

    my friend has that one!!

she loves it. i had a push while i was still pg and loved it but it ws too wide to get in our house....stupid house!!

think you need to egt to an independant pram shop to try them out :D

the only independant we've ever been to were a bit pushy iyswim and i didnt really feel comfortable despite telling him to leave us alone (in a more polite way).
We tried this out in mothercare but DH had preferred the quinny.... I dont remember it being that wide  have to look at dimensions again versus what we've got....

Does that mean you need to get the decorating finished really quickly then? Because I can come and help you as long as it's just painting and not wallpapering. (Because wallpapering is too hard.)

:D Well my strange friend got loads done Tues so all the walls are painted i was going to give one side another coat for perfection reasons but fook that now!!

You can buy one of those things that fix on the taps and put up a shower rail, then buy oil filled radiators to get around the heating.
