well its taken me a good 18 months to get to this stage. TBH with you i think that while I often blame DH for being rubbish, and he very often is, sometimes I would let him be rubbish IYKWIM and actually if I just asked he would have helped much more readily than I realised.
.
i feel the same.
although DH is better now he still needs a swift kick up the !!!!! at times.
if we have another he will be in for a shock'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
All good here thanks. XToo many children, too little time!!!0

I just got my highest score ever on Bejeweled and have always wanted to beat SS but the scores bit won't load, omg it had better show properly or I'm going to cry, breatheee!!! :rotfl:
Nice score:T, you and ss will have a battle this week. xx
Hi all, get well wishes for all the poorly ones, lots of bugs and colds about.DS1 1989 - DD 1994 - DS2 -20090 -
btw Weezl - did you see that Lauren Laverne has a little boy called Fergus too
I've been meaning to say can you change how CFR appears on google? I think it would be more attractive if it said "feed a family of 4 for £100 a month" on there esp as there is another sight just bellow that says their recipes feed a family of 4 dinner for a week for £40which looks rubbish compared to you
We have just over 13,000 unique users now. And a lovely retired TV cook called Shirley Goode, also wrote to us offering her help! Which is amazing

BEENIE!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Have you asked on freeycle? Although saying that ours only cost £100 brand new....
I've sent that exact email from GISI (i think it was, do excuse me im a bit frazzled)
Beenie - I do feel like im gonna end up resenting it, I've seen one on preloved which is £150 and in Guisborough (bit further than newton a!) plus i dont want bad feeling between DH and I over it. Although he hasnt said anything because he wanted to do whatever pleased me, but at this rate i know he's just going to end up getting the other one out and using that for himself....
I spent half an hour yesterday cleaning it up because it was a state (compared to being "immaculate") and had to wash everything. I realise I've got no comeback on the seat thing.... but the other annoying thing is i cant even get the carry cot onto the chassis..... its like the chassis is too wide? so rushed about like a mad woman putting the toddler seat on to take L to baby massage, and then couldnt get the hood on because one of the clips is bent in a weird direction and took 5 minutes and some brute force....
Baby massage was ok.... the woman doing it, its her first one in over a year (great confidence there) and was doing one thing but saying another, like "so from ankle toward the heart" and then going the other way...... some nice people, only one chav and her 15 yr old preggers friend..... even one boy born same day as Landen....was ok i wasnt blown away, and considering i had to walk home in the rain with no rain cover over Landen, im not entirely sure it was worth it....
Chassis doesn't sound right, i would be concerned about that. Hope the bint gives you a refund. Massage will be better next weeks i bet
I have tried freecycle but tbh chances are i'd get one from the 1980's that's only big enough for a pair of socks and costs £12 per minute to run. So i need to invest in a new one.. and not a White Knight. It needs a 6kg+ load, sensor drying and reverse tumble.
*for 'need' read 'beenie wants'.
Am thinking of buying this: http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.208-5103.aspx with a £10 off code and free delivery. Most other sites charge £20 delivery :eek:
Tara £400!! Is it a Miele?
Thanks Sami i've got my voucher too, i now have £17 in my Amazon account! :j0 -
Mwahahahaahah i've put my VERY noisy tumble drier on (it still works - just, but the drum is badly cracked at the back so it makes a racket)
I have been trying to dry the same load of washing for well over a week but i was too considerate to use the drier. But they are taking the pee so they're getting some of my bang bang. In fact i might now catch up on the other 4 loads i need to do and foooooooook them.0 -
I'm not sure what to suggest for your friend, but it does sound like you are a very good friend to her.
I tend to do all my moaning on here so am very upbeat in real life. Does she have any outlets for her feelings? Would she talk to a HV or a Dr? Hugs for you.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Rmac, can you empty your pm inbox please? xToo many children, too little time!!!0

Beenie it's a Siemens with a 5yr guarantee. My washing machine has a 10yr one. It's also 'B' rated which is great for a condenser dryer.Too many children, too little time!!!0
