I used Maz's vouchers today to get 40 nappies for a grand total off......

They almost paid me for them! :rotfl:I'd gone to the self serve till to help avoid the name being noticed and it wouldn't accept the vouchers so the SA did a magical thing that suspended the transaction and printed a receipt thing so I could pay at CS till but the CS SA didn't realise I hadn't paid and just refunded me the voucher amounts - I was a good girl though and told her I'd not paid!:A

I have been struggling the past few months and have mad a significant dent in my savings so I went through and checked what I was actually dealing with - turns out my monthly budget for food/toiletries/nappies/petrol is £410 which feels :eek: especially when I'd just filled the car up with £57 of petrol!! I have been too proud to tell OH but I'm gonna sit him down and see if he can give me anymore 'house keeping' which i think he can but not loads. http://www.cheap-family-recipes.org.uk/ here i come

I didn't realise it came with tomato sauce! I do really want to try the one from the book though so might try that this time and use the packet one for something else.

I just did a Waitrose order in 20 mins and started to panic at 11.59 as you have to have placed it by 12. :rotfl:

Kian has a tooth come through on top right molar but it looks all grey colour, and not shiny white like others? any idea why this is?

do i need to get it checked out?

tara - teething in this house is hard work. with everyone that somes through it gets worse - thankfully we are only the four really big moars away from a full set now

I really CBA today (sorry about the language). I'm in post holiday dip and the weather is awful. And I just can't really be bothered. LO is about to go for her nap - timed it later than normal as I fancy getting to watch nieghbours this lunchtime OOOh I feel like a bad muumy Oh well.....

Have you asked on freeycle? Although saying that ours only cost £100 brand new....

I've sent that exact email from GISI (i think it was, do excuse me im a bit frazzled)

Beenie - I do feel like im gonna end up resenting it, I've seen one on preloved which is £150 and in Guisborough (bit further than newton a!) plus i dont want bad feeling between DH and I over it. Although he hasnt said anything because he wanted to do whatever pleased me, but at this rate i know he's just going to end up getting the other one out and using that for himself....

I spent half an hour yesterday cleaning it up because it was a state (compared to being "immaculate") and had to wash everything. I realise I've got no comeback on the seat thing.... but the other annoying thing is i cant even get the carry cot onto the chassis..... its like the chassis is too wide? so rushed about like a mad woman putting the toddler seat on to take L to baby massage, and then couldnt get the hood on because one of the clips is bent in a weird direction and took 5 minutes and some brute force....

Baby massage was ok.... the woman doing it, its her first one in over a year (great confidence there) and was doing one thing but saying another, like "so from ankle toward the heart" and then going the other way...... some nice people, only one chav and her 15 yr old preggers friend..... even one boy born same day as Landen....was ok i wasnt blown away, and considering i had to walk home in the rain with no rain cover over Landen, im not entirely sure it was worth it....

He's working at home today! I just asked him, he says usually a baby tooth only goes grey if it has had a little knock, perhaps whilst still under the gum, the dentist won't do anything, but it's worth mentioning to him/her next time, so they can note it in kian's file. His adult tooth will not be affected
