CAFC: If youre not happy with the pram- go for a refund! Im 100% sure that you could find something better for that price! Have you been checking your local netmums too? Ours usually have some fab prices for pushchairs. And if part of you doesnt want to cause a fuss for your DH, dont worry about it. It will be worth it in the long run.Enjoy baby massage.
Sorry the monkey meet was cancelled. Its during started to rain here too.
Well, madam was up at 1:20 am and didnt go back to sleep until 4 something! And that was only because I got her in with us. She did manage to sleep until 9am though so at least thats something as I dont think I could have handled another 5am get up! Her nose has cleared up lots thanks to the mucus removal thingy but shes still a bit grouchy. I could sleep for England though! DH is off to his mums after work to borrow his sister's car for a few days so I should be able to get a few hours in when A goes to bed around 7. Cant wait!
ETA: A is going to sleep! WOOHOO! Off to bed we go!lol

AF I got pizza whirls mix from approved foods, its nice but takes over an hour to make from start to finish. I made a batch at the weekend and heated them up yesterday and today for lunch tho and it worked well
I got a load of this and was thinking, could i make it up as one big batch and roll it out to make a normal pizza base?
I also got loads of boxes of the foccia, which i wont use so i have wasted my money0 -

Thanks for the vibes guys!
EA, how come you won't use the focaccia mix? It's really yummy and dead easy to make.
Michelle, poor you and poorly A. It's horrible being bunged up as an adult, but it must be scary for babies.
Aless, those muffins look good. You would probably give yourself a nervous breakdown if you tried to do everything like Anabel Karmel though.

morning all!
I feel so bad, and actually quite upset....
DH is annoyed as well, not at me, but about this whole quinny thing...
It only has the 2nd stage seat unit, not the newborn, which was what I was bleeding well after all along. Admittedly he should be sitting up fairly soon-ish unaided so i guess its not that much of an issue, but DH is peeved that its basically not as described, and we've spent a fair amount of money on it, on the understanding that we would have to spend anything else on it......
And now I dont really know what to do.... I hate confrontation so im not exactly sure what to put in an email to the seller, and I paid cash on collection....and i just feel like ive been done over, and i hate that....
Anyway we've got baby massage this morning and part of me doesnt want to go because im in a bad mood and i just dont like new situations but then another part of me wants to push myself to get out there and meet new people, more for Landen's sake i guess.
Plus its raining and i need to put him in the carry cot part of the quinny and i dont think any of the raincovers we've got fit on it.....i need an instruction book for my life at the moment!!!!
I agree with what others have said about the seat unit, but I think the fact that the condition is way off immaculate is reason enough for a refund. Remember that the seller is most likely a parent like you who also doesn't want an awkward confrontation but who was maybe pushing their luck a bit.
If you want to return it for a full refund I would write something like:
Dear seller,
I purchased the Quinny Buzz Travel System from you this week, but when I got it home and looked at it properly I have realised that the condition is not immaculate as described.
The handle has been fixed/covered with tape, making it awkward to push and the Quinny stickers are badly worn. There is also a lot of scratching to the frame.
As the item was described as immaculate I was not expecting any of this damage. I was looking for a like new pushchair, so this Quinny Buzz does not meet my needs and I would therefore like to return it to you for a full refund, since it is not as described.
I look forward to your response.
Yours

Why won't you use the foccacia? Could you not use it for garlic bread or rolls or something?
We're having the pizza swirls tonight, using a tomato sauce from the famed takeaway book!
Sorry to hear about the Monkey Meet being cancelled. The weather is pants here too, but I don't mind as it makes me feel less guilty for not doing much with H as I feel pants.
Kindof- my tardy fairies have now flown first class so you should get a parcel in the morning. I've bunged some other 6-9 and 6-12 bits in to fill up the envelope but anything you don't want or doesn't fit feel free to fairy on or give to a charity shop.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Amber was a nightmare last night, waking up all the time cos she was snotty. And typically she was fast asleep at 8:20am when i really needed to be getting out of the door!
I'm about to spend £180 (i.e my life savings) on a tumble drier unless someone stops me soon!! :eek:0 -
