Morning. *hugs* to all those with poorly babies and extra ones for poorly mummies too.

Angel, Approved Foods is fab - love the randomness of it!

Tia sounds like you have a heck of a lot on your plate so it's no wonder it feels overwhelming. Hopefully you DS will be able to get more support if his needs are now being identified.

Baby is being a menace this morning. Got to be somewhere for 10 so need to set off at about 9.30, and she's just faffing about with my boob and licking her hand. Don't want her to be hungry and yowling when we go.

Could I please have some fingers crossed type vibes for OH? He's got to go to the chest pain clinic at 3pm which is where they send suspected cases of angina for tests. I just get worried about heart stuff as my dad died of a heart attack at 46 when I was 20.

  • 3, you could always drive down here and come and play in Ikea with us ;)

Bexta, thinking of your hubby today :) Mine is also off to see a "consultant in general medicine" today... Not sure if it's to do with his bowel troubles or his impaired liver function that the blood tests showed up...

I'm off to go cooking around the world with surestart... Today it's pakora and samosa I do believe... I'll smell nice for you in a bit Mfd ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Oh no, poopy about the monkeys!

Bexta, good thoughts for your DH. That's very scary :(.

Skies look like they're going to open here any minute. Usually go to Rhyme Time on Weds mornings, but not if it's p!ssing it down!

Still haven't heard back whether I got an interview for 95% Experienced Job, but I do have 2 other interviews over the next couple of weeks...one for New Career Direction Job and another for Only If I Have To Job. But being out of work is making me itchy - not because I necessarily want to, but because we can't afford not to!

    morning all!

I feel so bad, and actually quite upset....
DH is annoyed as well, not at me, but about this whole quinny thing...

It only has the 2nd stage seat unit, not the newborn, which was what I was bleeding well after all along. Admittedly he should be sitting up fairly soon-ish unaided so i guess its not that much of an issue, but DH is peeved that its basically not as described, and we've spent a fair amount of money on it, on the understanding that we would have to spend anything else on it......

And now I dont really know what to do.... I hate confrontation so im not exactly sure what to put in an email to the seller, and I paid cash on collection....and i just feel like ive been done over, and i hate that....

Anyway we've got baby massage this morning and part of me doesnt want to go because im in a bad mood and i just dont like new situations but then another part of me wants to push myself to get out there and meet new people, more for Landen's sake i guess.

Plus its raining and i need to put him in the carry cot part of the quinny and i dont think any of the raincovers we've got fit on it.....i need an instruction book for my life at the moment!!!!

Good thoughts to you Bexta. A friend of mine is 45 and had a heart attack a couple of days ago, the doctors said that these days people die with angina rather than from it because it can be so well managed, and once you're on their radar your chances are much better. He's already raring to get out of the hospital, has been updating his FB complaining that none of the nurses are displaying enough cleavage.

3, what about the soft play place in New Brighton? V could rampage her way through it and you could have a quiet coffee :)

Edit: CAFC I'm on my way out else I'd write your email for you, but include the damaged handle, the faded stickers, the scratches and the missing newborn unit and tell her you want to return it for a full refund because it's not as described. You can get a better one for the same money, and remember - even if you feel sick as you're writing the email, she won't see you quaking. Channel someone far stroppier than yourself as you write it.
