CAFC, that sucks. It's not nice when things don't match the description.
Angel, due you have any hippy/ alternative shops near you? They're normally good for things like that.
SS eew about the dress. Did you get a refund?

I thought 'Must be seen' meant, it's so good, you have to see it to believe it. But maybe I am mistaken.....:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

I agree GISI. And now I am off to bed, my second early night in two!
Why is someone on the ebay board asking why I thought the buyer was dodgy? Does it matter if I am a flagrant racist or whether I've just sold enough to sense dodginess? Does it change the outcome if I'm a horrible person?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

SS, that's not too bad a loss then, but you have to think why someone would try to sell something like that.
I've banned myself from ebay as of today anyway (not forever) cos I've just bought 2 bundles of clothes for Sophie. It's much nicer and less traumatic buying stuff for her

ooh I've never seen that crane SS!!! *wants* I can't go to ikea until they have antilops in stock (and I make OH give me a pile of cash
)
Oh I'm very proud of Edgar today, he shut the fridge door for me then looked at me and said "Taaaaaaaa" just how I say it to him to try and make him say it :rotfl: Its the first time he's said it and used it properly (and a bit cheeky/funny to boot!)
Also, not looking at the price, how cute are these! http://www.javari.co.uk/Emu-Kids-Little-Creatures-Girls/dp/B003YDZ5XC?ref_=pe_71481_21944191
Did you see I got an Antilop on Saturday?
They aren't getting them at all this week, so I got one from the displya and it was only £7 :money:
If you do go on a weekend, let me know
Gill - you are NOT a bad mummy! I am a bad mummy cos we ended up in A&E with a split frenulum after a bath the other week. There was so much blood and I thought he'd knocked his teeth out!
Kindof - J's room is 18 degrees and he's in a long sleeve vest, flannel PJ's and a 2.5 tog sleeping bag. He's always snuggly when I go up.
Elle - I love your new avvy!
Can I share a pic????A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
I've just checked the weather forecast for tomorrow and it's still showing heavy rain so unfortunately Thomas and I are going to give Monkey Forest a miss, we're both just getting over colds so even if it ends up as just light rain I'd prefer not to be pushing him around in it. If it's rearranged to the play area at Trafford then we would definitely be for it.
thats fine with me as we are both gettingover colds here too.
has the decision been made for everyone else yet??Does anyone know which chains do special occasion cakes? I've looked at sayers and m & s which are pretty affordable but I don't love the designs. Greenhalghs have some nice ones but no prices available. I was going to buy a plain white photo cake from asda and then get some stuff to decorate it from ebay but tbh if I go with something like this it's as cheap and much much easier! Or if anyone in the North west can recommend anywhere that's near Warrington or Trafford. I want to pay up to £40 for 40ish portions.
we got the plain cake from asda, got a plaque from ebay and then some little decorations from the market. we spent £22 in total and that was the large plain cake.
but....if you knowe someone with Costco card they do cakes to order and are scrumptious and near to you as well'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0
