Jillie- i was slightly put off ebay after your plaque was broken....I meant to ask what happened when you contacted the buyer?

they were full of apologies and sent another oner, which strangely didnt show up, so i contacted them again and got another one.Absolutely perferct condition. mum took a photo of it, i forgot lol!!

there are lots of sellers who do diffferent ones. but we did notice the 2nd one was packaged better.

aww. we get loads of HIYA's and to strangers. DH gets HIYA DAD!! and i get ummmm.he sayd angdad a lot too. we get lots of comments on how aware he is of things especially places. we were out the Dr yesterday and today when he went by the bulilding with DH he got all excited...i thought it would be the opposite as he got the injection yesterday

he's started to walk with the walker so we think the actual walking isnt far off. He walked holding hands with his key worker at nursery today when DH went to pick him up which is great progress.

we did get your text, sorry for not replying but with everything goin gon it went clean out of my head :o

    how is work? still pants??

They are so amazing aren't they???
We get HIYA DAD too but no Mama :( Not even when he's hungry anymore. Think he just does it to wind me up though! He is so loud which I don't understand, every word has to be shouted. I need volume control! Oh, the cutest word we have is Nana - which is for Banana not his Nanny! :rotfl:

Don't worry about not replying, just wanted to make sure you got it and I didn't dream about sending it! I do that quite often!

Work is pants, applied for another job today near TC. Same distance from me but will take longer because of the M60! How's yours?

I may disappear in a bit, need to put a hot oil treatment on my hair. Very Glam me!

ETA - and I've put off J's injections until the 20th October cos its the only appt after 5pm I could get. The one they sent for last week was at 2pm. How was K afterwards and did he have all 3?

    thanks :D

How is the sleeping going? We generally just have the one wake up now, usually between 2am-4am for a bottle but goes straight back and sometimes he wakes at 6am but I bring him in our bed and he sleeps until about 7am. Unless its Saturday of course!

EA - forgot to say congrats :)

you really do have a stunner there :D i'm sure my LO could lead him astray.

sleeping is good for us at the minute. we have had three nights in a row of not waking :D

not sure if you missed it but we have now moved into our own place so LO is now in her own room. i had to bit the bullet and some point, and we went cold turkey on the bottle (mainly because i forgot to take it up on the first night i was trying to get her to stay in her bed) and we had about 3 nights of where i had an hours worth of screaming/crying where i just would lay her back down and walk to her door and stand there. we had a few more wakings those nights too but not as long to go down. the night before we started having no wakings, she woke twice and it was less than five mins that she cried for and then we got our first night of all the way through.

not sure if it will continue or we will have hiccups but i am very very very proud of her.

great to hear you only have the one waking now. it makes it easier to function when you are getting more than 3 hour blocks of sleep

its the 'ehh' which is said a lot for things. 'ehh' usually means i want that. he is clever and understands that 'ta' is thanks/give back to mummy except when he knows its something like my mobile!! when he says 'ta' holds it out to me and then pulls it away lol!!

everyday seems to bring new things and i love it :D

m60--- wouldnt fancy that everyday but would be handy for a quick meet up :)

I'm sure he wouldn't mind ;) He likes to kiss the girls and then pull their hair! Cheeky sod!

That is great news :j I will tackle bottle at some point but at the moment I'm up for 10 minutes max whereas I know if I try and quit it I'll have a rough week or so. BUT I keep thinking that when I'm on holiday from work I don't want to be up all night!

Right, I really must go! I'll try and catch up again!

    bless him ..

i think for me/us it was just the right time and only you and jack will know when that is.

maybe my LO would have got it sooner if our living arrangements were different, but then maybe not .. .maybe she was just ready now.
