I was going to comment on your hair too SS. It is lovely and Molly's dance is super cute.

It was OH's birthday today and his parents bought him a very swanky video camera and I can't wait to film all the cute things H does.

My hair was deeply untraumatic, I found a hairdresser who just moved here from the US and hasn't yet learned that whatever you tell a hairdresser in Germany, you mean "please give me a Hillary Clinton." And it was only €20 :money:

:rotfl: Krystal, we did have a lot of legs! Those are my Very Best Friend's and her partner's legs, plus cross-legged Husband and mine/Molly's on the floor.

sorry all, i didnt mean any offence by my comments, and i hope noone took it the wrong way (esp' Kindof )....

I think its just because i know what my 'rents are like, they have to be significantly restrained.... take for example my dad has bought Landen a gun... yes thats right a gun to go shooting with... admittedly clay things and not hoodie wearing asbo teenagers... but firstly we dont live in the country and socialise with the gentry... secondly.... he's 3 months old... and thirdly its a piggin' gun for crying out loud....!!!

Hence why everything is a battle to be won with my lot.......

but what i really mean is sorry if i upset anyone with my turn of phrase...... just had a bit of a tizz with DH and was writing too quickly to read how it might have come across.... anyway.... sorry big hugs and love you all lots.... xx

I'd be grateful if noone quoted this as I'm probably going to come back and delete it later.

We were on a hen do yesterday which started with afternoon tea at a posh hotel in Manchester, then a meal and night out in the evening. I picked up my best mate from a local train station coz I was driving to the hotel. Her dh rang and said he'd forgotten his keys, he was really angry and was blaming her because apparantly he told her he had no keys so she shouldn't have left the house. She's adamant he didnt and I believe her. He said she had to come back and she said she couldn't because we were just on our way to start the afternoon tea, he hung up and refused to speak to her. She got really upset and me and another friend insisted there was no way she was going back and missing it. From past occurances we all (her included) suspect he did it on purpose to ruin her day and night out. (first since having her 10 week old baby) She arranged for him to borrow money from her parents and get a train to Manchester to collect keys, he had no other plans so nothing spoiling. He wouldnt even entertain this and got really nasty with his texts. Eventually he arranged for a friend who lives in Manchester to come to the hotel and collect the keys. She thought everything was sorted then she got a text telling her not to bother going home. And another one a bit later saying he meant it and a bag would be packed for her.
She went home as planned at the end of the night (she got the last train) and he wouldn't let her in the house, her 10 week old was inside with him! She flagged down a police car who refused to get involved as the baby was not in danger and gave her a lift to her parents. Her phone was dead so we heard nothing all morning/early afternoon when another friend went round to her parents, they were really upset and said he'd let her in but they couldn;t get hold of her and didn;t know what was going to happen. He is very physically big and she confessed last night she was frightened about what he would do. He hates me and has a real issue with me, mainly because my BF and I are so close so I couldn't ring the house or his mobile but another friend did and was able to speak to her and apparantly she sounded ok. She's texted me since as well but I feel worried about the whole situation. There's other things gone on this week where he's got really paranoid and nasty with her and he definitely seems to have a major screw loose. I feel quite frightened for the baby as well I'm also worried about getting too close or involved myself incase he flips and blames me...I'm on my own with T tonight and tomorrow and feeling quite vulnerable.

Sorry for posting a bit of a rant but I feel better now I've got it out of my head so to speak!

I'm chilling watching x factor and planning an early night tonight. Have to do my nightly express first tho doh
