  • Can I rant????

I am peed off with my mother and mil, every time they look after E for the night, the next day they never out him in the clothes ive taken round for him!!, my mother always puts him in a babygro (I take two in case of accidents) and mil always puts him in this velour tracksuit she got him

Why can't they just dress him in what I want brrr rant over

I still have a very poorly child :( he's had this cold since Thursday night, i hope he gets over it soon

If my Mum/MIL took H for the night so I could sleep through they could bring him back dressed in a paper bag as far as I am concerned ;) :rotfl:

We also have a cold here and have been really struggling to sleep this weekend so I my be biased though!

Ladybird- you've just reminded me that we still need to sort out a Hampshire meet. Maybe we could manage it before Christmas :rotfl:.

  • We do indeed. Who wants to come, and how will they be getting there? Do we need to be near a train station, or can we go to Marwell Activity Centre or something?

Please dont send any sympathy my way, we are not close, I just really really feel for them. I just hope the baby both survives and has a decent quality of life, the doctors seem to think he will be severely disabled, the poor thing.

Sorry to hear that em. Hope the baby is fine, and hope the parents manage to get through this. Can't imagine how traumatic this must be.

Another bad day here. I keep getting things wrong again :(
Here I go again on my own....
  • Hugs Becles. We're having that problem here at the moment. Of course nothing to do with the fact that DH is overtired, stressed and taking it out on me :(

EA I like your thinking. Only an hour now ;) How have you go on, did you go out for a walk or anything? If we weren't so exhausted here I would have offered to come down and keep you company!
No we didn't go for a walk as i didn't want to get dressed. But she cheered up after that and hada nap and DH called me on every break :)

This time next year i will have a baby and a toddler to look after so i have to get used to being on my own. I only feel worse because all my family are in Turkey for 2 weeks, and my sister works at Pontins so i cant call her all the time like before.

A hampshire meet is a good idea, especially now that Lily is more mobile and will be able to do more :)
  • Awww *hugs* Beccles and Ladybird :(
The one thing children wear out faster than shoes is parents ;):o:D
  • EA - it is a shame being on your own on weekend days when there are no playgroups to go find company at. Where does your DH work? We are lucky that if DH is working at the weekend, he is in a (very quiet) shop, so we can go in and see him. Can you go meet yours at break time, or is that not practical?

Becles, are you getting things wrong or do you just think you are? I think you are doing a great job and you need to sit down and relax.

There are loads of soft play places round here, we should so have a meet at one. Just round here there's monkey bizness in gosport and eastleigh I believe, moby's here in fareham and krazy kaves in portsmouth somewhere. Oh and playzone in cosham!

Thanks for all the well wishes for the poorly wee one.

Tia, the car sounds nice! I want to sell my stupid 3 door corsa for something a bit bigger. Just 5 doors would do!
