Dave was trying to say the house was a joint gift the other day lol... Value wise they're getting the same, it's just the size that's the issue... Maybe I'll get lots of big boxes for her stuff... And break everything down so as much that can be wrapped seperately is...
Or maybe I'm just fretting about it more than is neccessary lol...
I remember when I was about 7 or 8 my older brother and sister got stereos and headphones for christmas and their stash looked tiny compared to my brothers and mine which was mostly toys... I don't recall them ever saying anything, but I did feel sorry on their behalf... I think I'm just thinking of that...
AF, it's amazing what clicks into place when we stop fretting isn't it
Wow Sugar, that's shocking!!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Or can you get a mahoosive box and hide her DSi inside it?
Edit - sounds like night times are progressing AF.
Krystal, I was going to say pretty much the same as MFD. Maybe some play jewelry/hairbrushes or even socks would mean she has a few more bits to open? Have you got separate games for the DS? If so you can wrap them up separately.
I love the massive box idea too!angelfairy wrote: »although i do draw the line when she is pointing up at the biscuit tin at breakfast time
We get that one too. And Izzy will never have just one biscuit - it has to be one in each hand (I try and break them in half out of her sight, so she thinks she is getting two, not just two halves!)

We've got her an R4 card so there won't be any games... But I am going to pop to Claire's and get a few bits of jewellery... Maybe some little make up things too, she loves putting eyeshadow on...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... It is weird not having her around. When the lady said it was strange seeing me walking the dogs with no children, I know she meant it kindly, but it sort of hit home that I've not got bairns at home anymore and it made me feel really sad.
Mam spoke to another of her friends about the funeral. The other friend has breast cancer too and has found out her radiotheraphy didn't work, so she has started chemo. Her hair is starting to fall out. Also a lad I know is upset as his sister-in-law has just been diagnosed with bowel cancer but they are hoping an op to remove it on Monday should be enough. It's just freaked me out a bit with it all happening to people I know.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

My friend's just been round for lunch - very :money: as we had last night's leftovers. Late last year her husband had an email telling him that she was having an affair with a friend. Luckily the husband didn't believe it, and we assumed that a local expat guy who's notorious for being a bit unstable had sent it. She's just found out it was a supposed friend of ours, who on being confronted just said, Who are you going to tell? Shocking, really. I can't imagine thinking, Hey, my friend has a loving husband and three lovely kids. I think I'll risk all of that by making him needlessly suspicious of her.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

I think you are right. Sorry for upsetting people by mentioning it

I didn't mean that you shouldn't say - I just think it is one of those areas where everyone goes to say something and then shies away at the last minute because they don't really know what to say.
I am not making any sense!
We all have those days/weeks/months - is there anything in our particular area of expertise that we can help with?
