Now if I could get this from starting bid, is that a good deal?

Yeah seems ok but is a 3 wheeler isn't it? Do you need the car seat etc?

Btw you can get the two front wheels to turn it into a 4 but they'll be about 30-45 quid
  • I did that for Aimee's first few christmases Mfd... Can't be bothered now though lol... We just start the day with snips and scissors close at hand...

I'm a bit worried about christmas this year really... Aimee's big present is going to be a DSi... And I'm holding back on loads of toys since the house is bursting at the seams... But I worry her pile is going to look paltry compared to last years... She had a couple of things in giant boxes last year that really bulked it out....

Can you bulk up the pile with some cheap but larger items? Board games are always a hit with DSS, as are art supplies etc, or how about some cuddley toys?

Or can you get a mahoosive box and hide her DSi inside it?

Edit - sounds like night times are progressing AF.

Michelle - here's a thought...I've read that if the morning nap is too early, the baby will get up earlier. It needs a proper break between the 2 sleeps or else the body will kinda look at the morning nap as a continuation of the night.
    .

She gets up between 5-6:30 and needs to sleep around 9:30am. During the day she only stays awake for 2-3 hours and then she just pysically cant stay awake and has to have a nap. Sometimes its for an hour, other times 10 mins.
Remembered Michelles post as I'm in simliar position week 14 of BF and I've done all the night feeds. The lure of weaning is very tempting but I shall resist......12 weeks to go. Any poo explosions during the night are definatel ohs job though.

LOL might remember that one about the poo... although 9 times out of 10 A's nappy is completely dry in the morning! Then she will need about 3 changes in an hour once shes awake properly due to very wet nappies. I made DH bath A on his own for the 1st time yesterday; A loved it and I think its given him the confidence to do it again without me supervising in the future! He was also a bit funny about applying sudocrem around her anus area and asked me to do it... maybe its just a guy thing. He also has a thing about her seeing him naked.

Any lovely ladies have tips on how to take a decent picture of a baby? As soon as madam sees the camera, that's it, she starts pulling weird faces (bit like me and her daddy though, so to be expected really) I really, really want one of her smiling, but she ain't having it :rotfl:

I usually wait until DH comes home and get the camera ready as she has lots of smiles for at least 5 mins after not seeing him all day. Other than that, she just stares at the camera like a nutter. lol

i am happier with how they are going. i know it is not perfect by what 'they' tell you you should be doing, but it is working for us.
just need to work out what to do with my time when she is in bed other than cooking/cleaning/washing dishes/washing clothes/ironing :D

We have a billion different games, I'm sick of clearing out her crafting cupboard she has so much stuff and I'm trying to cull the cuddlys before they take over the house!

I might do the giant box idea though...

And I was thinking I could hide Caitlyn's presents in her playhouse so there's not a noticeable pile...

The night wakings sound like they're going well AF, do you find she's eating more during the day now she's not drinking milk in the night?

We had an atrocious night with Caitlyn last night which is completely out of character... On the plus side, she was a darling at Rhythm and Rhyme and stayed on my knee joining in and everything... Maybe sleep deprivation is the way to go for compliance...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Do you feel better today? How is Charlotte getting on at school? It must be everso weird!

Charlotte is getting on well. When we get there at 12.30pm, the all day ones are just finishing off their lunch and she's straight out to the sink area to do the washing up. They said she mops up spills and puts things away too, so she's a great help.

It is weird not having her around. When the lady said it was strange seeing me walking the dogs with no children, I know she meant it kindly, but it sort of hit home that I've not got bairns at home anymore and it made me feel really sad.

Mam spoke to another of her friends about the funeral. The other friend has breast cancer too and has found out her radiotheraphy didn't work, so she has started chemo. Her hair is starting to fall out. Also a lad I know is upset as his sister-in-law has just been diagnosed with bowel cancer but they are hoping an op to remove it on Monday should be enough. It's just freaked me out a bit with it all happening to people I know.

Thanks all for the comments and hugs. I'm just feeling really crap right now. Got a right fuzzy head, so I'm going to take the dogs for a long walk and see if I can clear it.
Here I go again on my own....

i have found by me being less stressed about her eating, a lot of it has fallen into place. she has days (on the weekends when i have her all day - other than during then week when i am at work and MIL has her) where she just grazes and may not eat a full on proper meal.

she still drinks a lot of milk, and only out of the bottle as she will not take it from anything else.

i have just chilled out massively about it all compared to what i used to. she is such an active, tall LO that i just let her get on with it.

although i do draw the line when she is pointing up at the biscuit tin at breakfast time :D
  • Becles - I think the thing about cancer is that everybody knows somebody and it seems to be fresh and raw for lots of people - I think lots of people don't discuss it because it is upsetting.

I have a girlfriend who has recently been given the all clear but 2 work colleagues who have recently been diagnosed, one who has already been told to leave work and make the most of his time :(

    Enjoy your walk.

...can any of 'Caitlyn's' gifts be re-earmarked as 'joint'? Or give Caitlyn some before Christmas - it is hardly like she will know the difference!

    How about some blow-up gifts....blown up ;):D

Katy Perry's skit has been banned from Sesame Street because she was showing too much booby. You'd have thought someone would've noticed this before filming began - or do you think they were dazzled by cleavage?

It's not as though she has massive cleavage to start with - she's hardly Jordan :rotfl:

What about a massive box full of balloons and hide her DSi in it? She'll spend so long trying to find it and having fun with the balloons that it won't seem as much IYSWIM.

I hope you feel better soon xxx :grouphug:

My friend's just been round for lunch - very :money: as we had last night's leftovers. Late last year her husband had an email telling him that she was having an affair with a friend. Luckily the husband didn't believe it, and we assumed that a local expat guy who's notorious for being a bit unstable had sent it. She's just found out it was a supposed friend of ours, who on being confronted just said, Who are you going to tell? Shocking, really. I can't imagine thinking, Hey, my friend has a loving husband and three lovely kids. I think I'll risk all of that by making him needlessly suspicious of her.
