((Hugs)) Beenie Have you got girl flu?
I got up this morning and got big ones to school, packed V off with MIL, then went back to bed (OH is on lates). It's really lucky i'm not still at work or we'd never get any grown up time.
Wish i could go back to bed. Amber is terrorising me.

Have a wonderful time lovely MacSmiler - you deserve it. Don't worry for a second about A - she will be begging you to go away so she can be spoilt by your parents soon enough!!
Lucky 3 - life in MFD towers is too stressful for adult relations ATMhow very sad is that. Must try harder

Hi
I am excited and terrified - very nearly prepared or will be today when I have completed my handover notes for care of H and my packing stuff. Can't be till next thursday at earliest though as my parents are in scotland until then so will have a major panic if before then.
Quick question - I have finally got a wardrobe for H so now need some small hangers quite quickly. I couldn't see any in Tesco on my searches but does anyone know if they do any? Couldn't see any on Argos website either so I may have to brave mothercare later (only other shop I can be bothered to go to).0 -

how very sad is that. Must try harder
I was thinking the other day, how do people manage to have baby no. 2 (or more) when adult relations are a distant memory!
We're really sad - if he's not working in the evening, you can guarantee at least one of us will be snoring on the sofa before 10pm.
Ebay DK to save you going out? http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3984.m570.l1313&_nkw=baby+hangers&_sacat=See-All-Categories:beer:0 -

I was thinking the other day (in a non wierd sense!) how people have no. 2 (or more) when baby/toddler is in the room - I would be too freaked out by the possibility of waking them up
We don't go to bed early, or fall asleep, but we do drone on about work issues and then generally I am on the lappy and hubby is watching boy's tv until we realise how late it is and fall into bed exhausted!

As always, I love giving gift ideas so if anyone has anyone who's hard to buy for please shout up
As an aside, please all ignore the IWOOT 2 for 1, I am  that all the stuff they're doing BOGOF on for a tenner plus postage was in the Gadget Shop's sale for 50p and a pound

 at these sleeping bag stories! Molly won't entertain them but she's such a cot traveller that we'll be forcing her into one as soon as the weather gets cold enough.
Enjoy your trip MacSmiler!My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Lucky 3 - life in MFD towers is too stressful for adult relations ATMhow very sad is that. Must try harder
We made the first attempt in over a month last night. It's been so long that it was over before it had begun, and it is an embarrassing truth that my first thought was, Cool, that's an extra half hour of sleep for me then...
Have done loads of work already and am planning to leave the office soon. Am taking my white coat with me though so if anyone notices I've gone they'll just think I'm off to the main building.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

The baby/toddler bit doesn't freak me out so much, if you're quiet! I'm more concerned about bigger ones who probably know what you're doing and are disgusted by it, hearing or walking in.
Can you and OH have a day off work, when B is at the childminders and have a duvet day together.:beer:0 -

This was a godsend on holiday when hubby and I made a furtive dash into the bathroom whilst Benjamin was napping and DSS was reading on the balcony :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:The baby/toddler bit doesn't freak me out so much, if you're quiet! We sometimes take advantage of Benjamin's nap at the weekend (when DSS isn't around of course). I will be working from home for a few weeks in October so an hour of snuggling once Benjamin has been dropped off won't be out of the questionplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
 I just sent Alice to start the lunch so she went but then she needed the toilet. She always seems to take a pile of books/games/toys with her but I just caught her sitting on the potty buttering a slice of bread on a plate on her knee. She seems rather bemused by my disapproval of her brand of multitasking.
:rotfl:Sorry that did make me laugh
