what you getting from argos WM?
I've not really looked, I checked for leapfrog tag books but they are still cheaper elsewhere.

Wooo I'm only 151 Swagbucks away from my first amazon voucher! :D

  • Potty training. We bought lots of these as they still make Poppy aware that she is wet but the wee doesn't go everywhere. We use Boots own disposable training pants for night time as its the pulling up and down idea we want her to get used to and completely out of the nappy idea iyswim.

All is going very well. Not attempting dry at night yet though as she is still confined behind cot bars!

Jamie is nowhere near ready yet although he sits on the potty fully clothed and shouts 'share!' at Poppy! :rotfl:

Sami, i've reserved Star wars Lego, Dr who screwdriver, Spy glove and Tech deck fingerboards & ramps for Joe.

Various GX stuff and puzzle balls for presents for friends children.
I have sorted it all, so when I buy it in batches of threes i get the best deal.

I sorted my neices in H&B yesterday and Alex is all done already.
I am determined have it all done before November rolls around. As have numerous birthday in Nov and Dec including Joes.

Oh, and Alex's Mamas and Papas Reindeer rocker came today and it is gorgeous.

I hasn't realised poppy was still 'behind bars'. Perhaps this means I shouldn't think about beds for a long time yet.....

She has never attempted climb out so we haven't had to think about it until now we are training. Its a cot bed though so the bars will come down some time soon (and I'm trying desperately to resist a hideously overpriced Cath Kidston duvet set! :o).

I will be keeping Benjamin in a cot for as long as he is happy to be in there....or until he goes to school, which ever comes first ;)

He kicks the cot bars in his sleep all the time so the longer I can stop him falling out of bed the better.

His cot still isn't on the lowest setting :o he has shown no inclination of ever wanting to climb out and I don't want to encourage him into nighttime wanderings before I have to!

A new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 2012
  • Hi everyone. Have finally got chance to post as small girl at nursery. Have just been sorting out her room and reassembling moses basket etc for new baby - due 2 weeks tomorrow! Have also counted my nappy stockpile, about 800 in sizes1, 2, 3 and 4+ (4+ are for H) am running out of space now.

For those that remember I was stressing about H's lack of speech - she has 3 new words in the last week, ball, eye and miaow. God knows where she got miaow from as we seem to see and speakto her much more about dogs but I'll take it! Her understanding is quite amazing though and I'm slowly training her to help me with jobs - current favourite is moving the damp washing from the washing machine to the tumble drier!

Also, have held small babies recently and she hasn't tried to rip them off me so progress is being made, albeit slowly!

Hugs for those feeling down or with useless OHs. Mine has been great today, got up with H and took her to nursery even though he's working, and is taking me to lunch as it'll be a while until we do it again! I am very lucky to have him.

Phew long post - sorry for that!

 I just sent Alice to start the lunch so she went but then she needed the toilet. She always seems to take a pile of books/games/toys with her but I just caught her sitting on the potty buttering a slice of bread on a plate on her knee. She seems rather bemused by my disapproval of her brand of multitasking.

Just a quick one - i'm trying to do christmas shopping at Argos.

Was somebody looking for wooden alphabet letters yesterday? I can't remember who it was, or if LO was a girl or boy. Argos have these...http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3941805/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CToys+and+games%7C14417629/c_2/3%7C14417629%7CPre-school+toys%7C14417737/c_3/4%7Ccat_14417737%7CCharacter+toys+and+playsets%7C14417740.htm

yes - I'm currently resisting buying a lovely little white company bed set :rotfl: we are awful!

MFD - we had to go to the lowest setting in teh cot pretty quickly. She's not worked out that she could get out of it yet, and we do still use a sleeping bag for her, although she can take it off when she is that way inclined. last week I found her in teh cot starkers - she's taken off her sleeping bag, pj's and nappy. I still don't know how she got her vest off - I think DH had forgotten to do up the poppers!!!! :rotfl: She was very pleased with herself.

right - new bedroom will probably involve the cot :rotfl:
