haha! How can she justify £1.50 a mile? I know petrol prices have gone up but that's a right healthy profit isn't it?!

Aw congratulations aunty krystal:)

Jas is always climbing about as well, she bangs her head and doesnt even flinch, took her to soft play the other day she was in her element in there, she's just got no fear she was even flying down the big slides! Jake's always been a bit soft about things like that!

urgh that double looks ming tia lol,

jake wet himself at school today:( i cant believe it he's not wet himself since he was about 2! i think the problem was he was dressing up (spiderman, again lol) and i dont think he could get it off quick enough, bless him he said he was worried i'd be dissapointed, he has been brilliant with his dinners this week though!

Bear in mind it's not completely dry yet hence the patchyness And there's still some cutting in to do along the top but she wants me to put masking tape up cos she got it on the ceiling last time lol!

Creeps in very quietly........


My horror of a child broke her highchair tonight by trying to climb into it using the footrest. It just sort of snapped. I hated it anyway because she was too far from the tray and it reclined too much so she looked uncomfortable. So i'm secretly pleased and gave her a gingerbread man to celebrate the demise of the rubbish highchair!

Anyways, I'm looking for a new one now and was thinking about the Ikea antilop. But considering she's 15 months I was wondering how long it was likely she would use it/be able to sit in it for. Can anyone give me an indication?

Choppy that rocker is gorgeous. I ordered the reindeer one for Alex, as it's pay day. Santa has now finished Alexs Christmas shopping and is now looking for some bargains for a soon to be 7 year old.

I ordered one of the rockers too and used the £5 M&P gift card I'd had knocking around for months so got it for £30 delivered to the store just down the road from us. That's H's main Christmas pressie sorted and we've already got lots of stocking fillers for him too, thanks to bargin books direct!

That's how I got my blue one for £85. That was the lowest they would take :rotfl:.

Work spreadsheets finally done and sent :T. Now I can relax for half an hour before bed.

Congratulations Auntie Krystal Mookie - I don't know about stopping using high chairs, but we've been using a table and chairs since Izzy was just over 1 I think. Means I can't strap her in and keep her put though, so getting a cheap high chair while you can still get away with it might not be a bad plan

I'm sure she'd get quite a bit of use out of it, i dont have an antilop but jas is nearly 18 month and she still needs to be in her high chair, she does have breakfast in the mornings at the ikea table we've got but i spend the rest of the day finding random pieces of toast everywhere cos she wont keep still! oh and this morning jake left his glass of juice on the table while i was putting his shoes on in the living room, she walked through with an empty glass... yep she'd tipped it, she is a nightmare lol! you might need to attach some harness thing to it tho if she's anything like my monster, x

I haven't got a 'popular' pram, but I love it. It's a 2nd hand Bertini which can change from a pram to pushchair, and be forward or parent facing. It is rather huge, but that's ok
