    I am wondering about the mooncups coming in different sizes. And how would you know which size you are? Is it like girth in cm, or like, 'virgin' 'had 12 kids' 'extra loose'...???

    :rotfl::rotfl:!!
    Feel like a failure

    All the emails I get updating me on what E should be doing upset me, he excels in some things, but cant do other things, like he cant sit up on his own which apparantly he should be able to do :(

    Dont feel like a faliure! Lily is older than E and she cant sit up on her own either, she manages about a minute when she's in the mood. Otherwise she just falls.

    E also did alot of things before Lily did, they all grow at there own pace :D

    Morning everyone. I am so very tired but i woke up to hear Lily 'talking' :smileyhea
    She babbles on and on until she runs out of breath and then just opens and closes her mouth :)
    Most of her babble is her saying "Dadadadada" though, humph. :rotfl:

    Forgot to mention that a lovely woman on Freecycle gave me a slow cooker yesterday, so now I need to find some decent recipes to do with it!
    You can do any all in one dishes in the slow cooker - you may want to brown onions/meat first and you need to put less liquid in. I always cook joints in the slow cooker as it makes them nice and juicy (and you can then use it to make stock frm the bones afterwards). You can make yoghurt and bread but bread isn't worth it unless you've got no oven.

    kindof the other thing to bear in mind with development is that sometimes a child will seem to be almost doing something for ages whereas another child might show no signs of doing it at all and then suddenly do it out of the blue. Alice actually started sitting the same week as a friend did but before that week it seemed like she was way ahead because she was "almost" sitting and he showed no inclination at all to even attempt it.

    Susan, what a lovely thing for Alice to pray for, may they soon be answered.

    Redstar, you can also make a nice risotto in the slow cooker. No need to bother stirring, soften the veg and then just dump everything in and leave for approx 2 hours. Yum.

    I forgot to say what DH did on Tuesday, amazes me that someone with such a responsible job can be soo stoopid. He came home whinging that he was tired as he'd worked right through and was thirsty as he'd had no time to get a drink. He usually works through so I thought nothing of it, until about 7.30pm when he's shouting about the cycling on TV and he was clearly seen by me and Ben standing watching down the town, NOT AT WORK AT ALL! :rotfl:

    I just found Cherry Has A Baby on a totally legal download site. Will I get dust in my eye if I watch it?
