Morning everyone - i'm soo tired slept really badly. Going to have a revivng bath, then take E to swimming lesson and go to MILs for lunch. Is it just my normally well behaved child who turns into whiney manipulative spoilt brat at ILs house or do anyone elses children transform upon entering nanna and grandads house - and does anyone know how to stop it. Had a serious conversation with her before we go - along the lines of if you start we are going home and no sleep over next weekend, so may well have to go home halfway through lunch because once you issue threats u have to stick to them.
Beanie - hope you didn't get any police visits last night:eek:Mam 2 Big E Nov 4 & Little A June 10:happylove0 -
Morning all!
:j CAFC, so glad you found it
:j SM for a brave move with the scissors
Rather than cutting the cards up though I hid mine in a location that requires a chair and some determined manoeuvring to get to them. Using them is such a PITA that I won't try to get them unless I have absolutely no alternative, but they're technically available in case of emergency. It might be a good middle step for someone who's not as brave as you
:j angelcake for an angelcake in the oven
:j Beenie for hopefully avoiding arrest
:j ladybird for a lovely link
:j everyone else because you are lovely and I've given up scrolling up and down
Pancakes and eggs for breakfast this morning. Molly loved the eggs but the floor around her chair is decorated with bits of pancake, a shame cause Husband was experimenting with food colouring and flavouring and made her green and red flower pancakes but she wouldn't entertain them for a second. We're supposed to spend today playing with sugar in the kitchen to avoid a molten tidal wave like I made the other night, but I've just seen a thing about a Middle Ages festival that I'd rather like to go to so we'll see.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Morning all!
Sorry you didn't get your lie in, Kindof. I would totally be back in bed with the laptop now if I were you.
After a busy day at work yesterday then two wakings in the night last night I am absolutely wiped out. OH was three hours late home from work this morning which means he will be in bed all day, rather than just all morning so once again it's just me and Henry. Nothing planned but it looks like a lovely day so I'm sure we will do something.
Loving the idea of a cooked breakfast SS. Might have to steal that one as that might just perk me up a bit.
That nature reserve looks lovely Ladybird. I'll have to remember that next time we're in the area.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Beenie - hope you are ok. That text sounds like a weird game. I'd just ignore it if I were you.
SS - mine always act differently at grandparents. You say no they can't have more cake, and then you end up with an upset child and the grandparent saying "oh go on, a bit of cake never hurt anyone" so you look like the big bad witch to both parties
I really need to cut up my cards
Kinof - We noticed he said fook a lot. I said the film would probably only be 30 minutes long if they cut all the fook's out :rotfl:
Breezy day here so already got some washing out on the line. Think we're going to Craig's grandparents later and got some work to do in the garden if it's still fine later.
Have a good day all xxHere I go again on my own....0 -
S woke up 3 times last night  unheard of for him these days, and the last time OH turned the monitor on mute cos he'd left the lullaby playing and didnt turn the volume back on after so I couldnt sleep properly, on edge waiting for him to wake up again. He didnt though, the pair of them are still snoring up there! Apparantly there was a giant painful looking poop, would explain the monstrousness yesterday...
Still have no oven, am missing baking although its probably for the best!! Won the bounce and spin zebra for £10 so will need to go pick that up today, but other than that not a lot else to do. Wish I could bake, MIL gave us 12 eggs from her own chickens last night and we already had 10, and OH wont eat omlettes :eek:Mummy to

Quiche, Em?
for your bad night.
I do love baby memories - Molly just figured out how to open the toybox, which is normally used to store out of favour toys while the others are within easy reach. She's had all the stuff in there before and just not bothered overmuch with it, but you'd think Santa had come the amount of fun she's getting out of it :rotfl:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

SS, sounds like Molly's having a great time.
SM, brave, but sensible move cutting your cards up. We're not in debt, but need to get our act together and get organised about our money.
*hugs* to those with poorly babies. Sophie's been suffering since her jabs on Friday. Not looking forward to next lot, they're on OH birthday.
