Angelcake - it's totally up to you. The traditional way was to cut it after the wedding breakfast and serve it up with tea/coffee. However at my own wedding (last year) and any others I've been to recently it has been done in the evening and then put out with the buffet. This worked well for us as it gave the evening guests something iykwim!

Fish pie for dinner, Husband is cooking. Swears it'll be ready by seven so I leave Molly unfed so she can have some. He then says it'll probably be 7:30 so I tell him off and he backtracks, only to realise that he has been faffing about so long it's already almost seven.

That bingo thingy - do you have to post 10 times a day? I probably did about five posts earlier but really struggled.

My baby girl is absolutely shattered, but 6.10 is far too early for bed isn't it? I'm trying to keep her down until 7.

nope - I find that LO sleeps better is she goes to bed before she gets overtired..............I'm a founder member of the victorian mummy club though and LO is always in bed by 6.45pm - 7pm at the very latest :o
Quick question... does wedding cake get served after the `wedding breakfast` in the afternoon.. or in the evening??? thanks xx

we wanted to have a toast with the cutting of our cake so had that and the cake cutting before the meal. Ceremony was 2pm, toast about 4.30pm, dinner at 6pm, after the line up into the dining room. It worked well and helped to 'break up' the drinks reception. Dancing started at 7.45pm and I partied until about 2am :D Best day of my life so far :D
