A white car could save you lots of money - in speeding fines. The person in front will think (when they look in their mirror) 'oh, that might be a police car!' and then they slow down.0

I think really, we're discussing two different things here.
Modern, pearlescent white.
And old, crap "flat white."
The modern whites look very nice, metalic/pearl and looks very nice on some cars.
Old crap "standard white" still rings a poverty specification car to me.

Colour is subjective, one man's meat and all of that, any colour other than black would suit me fine.
I can only see the bonnet when I am in the car.;)0 -

Exactly! I have a new car on order in a Pearl White, its a slightly off-white, hint of cream in it looks a million dollars. The Ice whites look cheap to me. Main incentive is it keeps the car cooler, current car is Black and cooks even on a moderate day.0 -
Nope....(given the choice). Especially the Xsaro Picasso. Looks like an ambulance in white.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
In some car mag reports on their fleet cars, most have commentated that the non metallic painted cars have picked up more 'chips' than the varnished (I can't spell lackked) ones - due to the solid paints being softer?0
