But this section of the board is 'Report bargains, deals etc' so very relevant. The advice section is below.

I think its great that someone actually uses the board for what its meant to be honest!

    Keep up the good work
    £100 - £10,000

I'd think you'd be made more welcome on Cruise Critic, tbh,

I don't like to see the forum filled up with random deals that aren't all that spectacular. When I say "filled up" 8 of the posts on the first page of this forum are yours.

So I'm a "no" this place is for advice, not for advertising.:D
Maybe so but the rest of them are asking for offers and not reporting them as per sub-forum heading. At least Mrw is meeting the posting criteria. The only other post meeting this criteria on page 1 at the moment is the new user who reported the Ecover tablets, which, regrettably, is of the wrong subject matter.

And actually this sub-forum is not "for advice", it's supposed to be used to "Report Bargains, Deals & Special Offers" or is my understanding of written English awry?

You cannot do these sort of posting on cruise critic, mentioning TAs or any other cruise related web sites it not liked.

Cruise critic(I use it a lot) is commercialy driven and owned by the big boy of travel.

problem with this sub forum is it is too quite,

I think a few threads with lead posts for subclasss of deals to keep them grouped would help if it did get busy the world is a big place.

    Cruise
    Flghts
    Med
    US
    Luxury AI
    etc.

Was thinking about this - why don't you just have a thread ( like the everything Orlando or New York threads) and post your latest finds in there, title it Mr Weetabix's latest cruise deals and people will know where to look...

that way it's all in one place and easy to find but not taking over the page and looking a bit 'spammy' iyswim.:)

I think it is better to just have one cruise deals thread that everyone uses, trying to keep it to just deals.

A seperate thread(probably a sticky) for discussing the places to find cruise deals and the typical discounts pitfalls etc. also the main cruise forums out there where there is more info about the various cruise lines.
This will be usefull for those that are new to the cruise market.

I have just found this forum in the past few days and today found your offers. I cruise frequently and am very happy to look at all offers out there.
Use mainly Celebrity but also Cunard and possibly Princess from time to time.
On Holiday Truth there is a forum board with lastest deals in cruises and there are a couple of people on it who work hard to let others know about the deals.
People are delighted so keep up the good work.
