    Hi

Has anyone in stores seen of the HM armed forces in the sale?

    Thanks

    Jo

A couple of small packs of toy planes and things, but none of the bigger things on the website in my local store.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Me too, nothing to get excited about next year now!
Proud mum to now-grown-up daughter (Pebbles) and two lovely grandchildren (Roxy & Chip).

Noticed a couple of you lovely MSErs were in Bitterne today. Did any of you hear that announcement about the children that had been left in the car in the car park and were apparently crying their eyes out? They said a security guard was with them but they were too scared to open the windows bless em.

Left my son with a friend and just had my little baby with me. Really pleased I got the Star Wars lego that he wanted, might go back tomorrow though....!

I was indeedy at Bitterne, can't believe what I got, went to Hedge End and Bitterne yesterday to suss out which one to go to and seems like I made the right choice! We get paid tomorrow so might nip back as I got all main presents today and just need stocking fillers now. I didn't hear the announcement, thats so so sad :-( Can't believe anyone would do that, my Mum looked after my Son and if she wasn't there then he would be in the trolley, wouldn't even cross my mind to leave him. Glad you got some bargains.....might see ya tomorrow!! x
  • The Sainsbury's Half Price Toy sale is on at the moment xx
  • I was starting to think I was the only one on MSE who went to that store :D

did you get there for when it opened? I embarressed myself and did the fast walk, almost a jog down the middle isle to the toys, I had the cleaners giggling at me :rotfl:

I'm all spent up, or I'd be going again for some stocking fillers :) I'm still over the moon with everything I got and the children will be on Christmas morning :)

Yep I was there when it opened, was near the front with my Mum and little boy (well hes 6). I did my fast walk which you will only catch me doing on a next and boots sale usually. It was all such a blur but was in and out in 10 mins, was great, will definitely go there again next year (wow thinking very far ahead now!) Glad you got some bargains, and I am sure your kiddies will be over the moon xmas day x

I popped into the Drumchapel store in Glasgow in the offchance they would have anything tonight and was pleasantly surprised. Got some half price moon dough, toy story, playdoh and littlest pet shop. They had loads of furreal and bionic etc, lots of cuddly toys too.
    Hope it helps someone.

did you notice if they had the Andy Toy collection woody or Jessie??:D the ones at £40 odd

i know they had woody and bullseye but i dont think they we're £40 however a member of staff took a jessie from a box in darnley and done a runner shouting to another member i found one mmm suspicious me thinks lol so i'm guessing that may have been one of the more expensives ones , might be worth a bash to see if they get more ;)
