Went to Savacentre Hempstead Valley tonight and loads of the staff have been raiding the cages out the back during the day , taking all the vtech cameras and Lego stuff , trolleys piled high and all covered up with their staff coats etc and was only being put through the tills at 11pm . I asked if they had any more stock of jet pack buzz and the cameras and they said they had sold out and no more was due in . Manager said no more branded stuff was coming in , just sainsburys won brand stuff from now on , bit lousy having a toy sale if you only gonna have 5 of each branded item come in . Got all that I wanted though so am happyBaby Thomas born 3 months early by emergency section on 21/1/09 weighing 1lb 15ozs .
Thomas came home after 3 months and 2 days in hospital weighing 5lb 15ozs
Thomas weighed 21lb 4ozs on his 1st birthday , a total weight gain of 18lbs 5ozs !

I went back last night with my DM as she wanted to pick up some stuff for the kids. The shelves were totally bare. I was however able to pick up some smaller things that I just couldn't get to in the morning. I grabbed various Star Wars The Clone Wars figures. Some Bakugan singular ones, and my mum found a Dr Sonic screwdriver, which was most certainly not there in the morning. While I was walking around the store I spotted a fairly big Lego Star Wars set. I think it is Anakins hoverboat or something. I walk back to the toys and I had four people looking at me like viltures to a piece of meat, all asking me where I got this set from. Just crazy!
I was going to go back this morning, but I was just so tired and everytime I go back I keep getting more and more bits that, even though they are on the wishlist aren't neccessary. All I want is Mr Potato head! haha. So I'm just going to leave it. If one of my awesome mates or family grab it for me, fantastic if not I will get it full price. I'm fortunate it's not that expensive full price and it won't break the bank. Unlike some people who can't get a very expensive item
What do I think of this yers sale? For me, I found it great. I got there early, which is the ONLY way in my local to get anything decent. They had variety of toys for me, and everything that I wanted (apart from M PH) This could be because I never went online, and only expected what we had on the shelves. The shelves were stock and two more huuge Ilses of toys that we wouldn't normally have. The staff were wonderful even when they had some nasty customers. Last night people were constantly asking them for prices and not once did they grumble or roll their eyes.
For me this and in many repsects last year, even though I was too slow in getting the good stuff have been great. But by reading some peoples comments on here, it does seem like a bit of a lottery.
Fingers crossed to everyone that one of the days of the sale you might find what you are looking for.1) TV 2)Laptop 3)Cash 4) Things for boys for Xmas 6)Holiday 7)Knitting bits
Money raised for University fees (from 20/2/14) £0

i want one for my sons birthday in jan so not important but wud have been fab half price aye?
I was gutted when everything didn't go to half price on the site! It would have been a real bargain for £11! I'm not sure if my son will be too big for it though, he's 2 and a half, so wanted to have a look at them first!
Think I'm going to get him one of these www.lite-bike.com they come in different sizes and are fairly cheap :j0 -
Also, has anyone seen any scooters in any stores?0

Has anyone been to any Sainsburys this morning to see if the stock has changed or if they are still putting out the same toys from yesterday.
I went to Bolton and Leigh stores yesterday and both had exactly the same toys that were repeated several times throughout the store.
There seems to be a lot of toys from the website that seem to be excluded from stores. I think Sainsburys have bulk purchased this selection of toys as they seem to be the same nationwide.0
