I'm kind of glad that the online sale is pants, as I live almost 2 hours away from a Sainsburys and so I am not tempted to spend money I don't really have on extra pressies which I would have done online as I wouldn't have been able to resist.
I got loads last year online, my overdraft is sighing with relief!!!0 -

I went to Bolton and Leigh stores yesterday and both had exactly the same toys that were repeated several times throughout the store.
There seems to be a lot of toys from the website that seem to be excluded from stores. I think Sainsburys have bulk purchased this selection of toys as they seem to be the same nationwide.
I agree. I went to Bolton also and westhoughton and they had same and there seems to be no more on offer than the website. I just wish they'd add the camera no site. I asked about trivial pursuit last night in Bolton and they couldn't tell me whether they had any different stock than that was already out. Think I'll get my camera for Argos instead.0 -
Apologies if this has already been mentioned ,but someone was after the Zhu Zhu pets Ninja/ Special forces wheel and training ground. Base have got them on bogoff, so if you were getting both then that's the same as half-price , (or at least it is my flawed logic)
http://www.base.com/landingpage_528.htm?pglp1-0=3&orderlp1-0=3&genrelp1-0=All 9towards teh bottom of the page.
I've never used the site, so no idea how reliable they are but I'm sure other people have mentioned them on here in a good light.
I don't suppose anyone's seen the Chugginton Wilson storage case on their travels at all?0 -
Basildon had Yippity Jess the cat yesterday. I haven't seen any scooters or really big toys. I agree that they seem to have bulk bought certain toys. I wonder if they've restocked this morning. I really wanted to get a Buzz Lightyear but there were none left at all.0

Think I'm going to get him one of these www.lite-bike.com they come in different sizes and are fairly cheap :j

I got a mailing through this morning from TJ Hughes. Seems they have some toy reductions. Some, but not all available online.
I haven't looked to see if they are actually cheaper than anywhere else but it might be worth a quick look?If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!0 -

Well my local one wasn't up to much as expected-couldn't find the toys at first and then discovered them on an end of aisle display with a small section around the corner. Managed to get a Woody doll but no Annabel etc. No Buzz ones left and judging from the gap where they were I would say they only got about 6 in in the first place.
Partner popped in this morning first thing but no more deliveries had arrived and they said it will be Saturday before there maybe more coming-seems a bit pants to only have 6 Buzz toys coming in in 3 days for the only store in the city!
Will keep on trying but was really hoping for a baby annabel doll-cant afford it full price.0
