I went to Sainsburys Hedge End earlier. There was only one aisle of toys and it was packed. You could hardly move. Found it disappointing as there were no toy story toys or thomas. Found that most toys were baby toys. Most of the staff seemed stressed getting the shelfs restocked. Came away with 2 puzzles and a car garage.

The dolls house was on the website for sale at £99.99 this week.
Dolls house is 49.99 in Bristol abbeywood, next to the entrance and exit door, lots of them.
  • I was at white rose (with kids in tow) at 8am! Got lots of lego, lego games, hot wheels, elefun, gator golf, fisher price tea pot, littlest pet shop and meccano. All for my kids xmas/birthdays, plus a few smaller bits for all the birthday parties we have coming up. It was a bit manic at the lego/toy story end of the aisle, but I managed to get all I needed. Went to Colton around 11 and got a smaller star wars lego and peppa pig trolley for a friend.

    Roll on next year! lol

Hi, if anyone in Bolton sees the kidizoom video camera instore can u please pm me. Was down there this morning for opening time and asked as I went in but wz told they didn't have them instore. I'm hoping they make an appearance later this week. That's my main pressie.
  • thats odd! i saw toy story barbies, toy story lego, baby annabels and other things people didn't get, in wolverhampton.
however, notalking waybuloo or talking zingzillas.
shame really as those were what we were after.
staff are unsure whether the stocks will be replenished.
does anyone know when the sale ends?

I think it ends on the 3rd.
  • I dont think its a case of being lazy using the internet. Imo children grow up far too quickly in this day and age and whilst they still believe in the magic of christmas and santa let them. If that means ordering the items online whilst they're in bed asleep then so be it. Or should we drag them down to the store with us and spoil everything because theyve seen what theyre getting from santa x

I was there at 8am too. Glad you had fun! I enjoyed it, and there wasn't a bad choice really, once you trekked round the store to find all the hidden toys on the end of aisles and on the checkouts!
Could have spent a fortune on my two-year-old but struggled for my five-year-old, he's too old for Peppa Pig/Thomas but still a bit young for the tiny lego.
