Oh dear.........guess i caused grief. I was buying the kids a macdonalds anyway so it was a freebie to me and I didn't know anything about the 'student discount' bit until i saw it come up on the till.
Hope this post was helpful to some........0 -
Hi
An NUS card lets me have a free hamburger, cheeseburger or mcflurry.
I also had another 6month card which let em have either of those items with buying an extra value mealt to.
Its worth keeping an eye out for these things.

rhoeds121 wrote:its not suitable for anyone. why would anyone want to eat at McDonalds. And giving kids a 'happy' meal and finishing it off with a McFlurry makes my blood run cold. Why not just give them a bag of sugar?
Don't want to start a debate here but a McD's once and a while won't do you any harm, its all about a balanced diet. In my opinion they have really improved over the years offering healthier alternatives & I think they do what they do well (and I don't have anything to do with them!)
Thanks for the info op, will pass it on!:j :j0
