!!!!!! then why include it in the handbook, giving clear descriptions of where it is and how to use, also clear pictures of its location

yet you open the boot and it not there, !!!!!!

Because its easier to print one user manual, with exceptions than 10+ for differing model variations,!!!!!!.

A lot of Motorpoint cars are imported from RHD markets such as Cyprus and as such may have a different spec to UK cars.

thanks for the info, however my car was an x motability car, according to the paperwork I have been given it serviced in Bolton in Feb2010
  • this is just really really odd

The optional spare wheel raises a rather important point. When you call the breakdown service, and you tell them you have no spare wheel, does it invalidate the service agreement?

I bought a car from auction. The molded expanded polystyrene thing above the space saver spare wheel is missing one half(imagine half a pizza). This means the boot floor sags.
I put the jumper cable, tow rope, locking nut key box etc. in the space of the missing piece, which neatly solves the need to have a carton to hold all the bits and pieces.

Why would that be the case? I don't think any breakdown covers excludes cars that don't have spare wheels, would be stupid to.

And to the OP, if you haven't got the spare wheel you ain't gonna have all the other stuff to go with it. My car doesn't have a spare wheel, or jack etc. all it came with was the locking wheel nut key, and bottle of tyre foam and 12v compressor.
