    Good afternoon/evening.

feel like I've wasted today which is annoying but really struggling with ongoing fatigue. I've stripped and washed the bed and hoping dh will remake it and walked the dog for an hour and that is it! So grateful for dh.

ds asked if we would swap bedrooms as he wanted more space so dh has done that today too. Still lots to do in terms of reorganising shelves and cupboards but it looks much better and ds is happy. We've also been able to move a chair from downstairs and put that in his room which is a win win in terms of space and use.

Had a very quick unplanned nap earlier so hoping to stay awake long enough to watch a film this evening. Have just been watching one of those 'buy a property abroad' tv show and realised how much I am missing sunshine and warmth. I can't wait for the Spring for so many reasons this year. January isn't easy at the best of times but Spring definitely feels like it's going to be a more positive time and I'm hoping for my energy to return too.

£10.50 overpayment from wages and then another £20 as found money in my purse I forgot I had. Very close to knocking a month off and have also sent £256 to stoozing card so that is coming down very nicely too.

Just catching up on your progress. I totally feel your decluttering pain. This time last year I had a really good go at getting rid of stuff and was really motoring until Covid hit. Charity shop closures and recycling centre queues stopped me in my tracks. I had another splurge in the summer and am determined to finish what I started this year! Our issue has always been grandparents buying endless stuff from the charity shops for the kids that inevitably ends up in our house (I'm certain they buy back what we have sent), and Mrs SJ has some hoarding tendencies from her dad (books and dvd's drive me potty). So my plans for 2021 are to remove at least 1 item everyday with the occasional ruthless splurge!

Well done on your progress, you plans and good luck!

Never ending isn't it Jimmy, I suspect there's probably a charity bag still in dh car boot too! I just want things to end up in a good home/being used and not going to landfill which makes the decluttering process harder.

Thanks Debtfree. It's just fatigue related stuff, don't think I've been right since having pneumonia a few years ago.

I feel like I've had a funny old week, dh been unwell so off work (hoping he gets paid!). Cheered myself up/distracted myself by sending another £20 to the mortgage to knock another month off. CB has landed but holding onto it until we know what dh getting paid.

Also got ahead of myself sending 'spare' council tax money to stoozing card and was surprised to see the council tax go out of the bank this week! January's pay covers February's bill and we are not quite there yet. Main thing is any banking disasters were averted!

very minimal spends in the last few days. in fact I think we've only spent £1.50 on milk and that's it!!

Hope you're all dry and safe, this rain is relentless and there's lots of local flooding.

It's the weekend!! Only difference for us compared to in the week is that I may be able to sneak in a nap or two. Payday and money shuffle has happened, not completely depleting the account until I know what dh is being paid next week but have sent £176 to stoozing card and around £60 to the mortgage. We are on the home stretch to knocking off another month which is always satisfying. Steady progress is being made......

Great advice Jimmy, I never did get that nap though but instead have spent the whole day exhausted and trying to wake up!

Therefore not much achieved today and I'm putting any pressure on myself. If I get jobs done it's a bonus! Load of washing done, have moved a bookcase from a bedroom into dining room and reorganised some of the books.

It's snowed on and off all day but barely any lying snow. If the sun is out tomorrow I think a walk will do me the world of good. Let's hope Spring is just around the corner.....I need it!

I've had a really lovely day, *almost* managed to forget the whole pandemic situation for an hour or so. We've had a good amount of snow and a lovely walk/sledge in the local park and then snowball fight and snowman building at home.  Was nice for things to feel normal for a while. We warmed up with homemade soup and hot vimto.

Also sent £7.50 to mortgage rounding the account down. Really hoping we can knock another month off by the end of this month and chipping away will certainly help.
