I've gone slightly over today Apple and the culprit was a slice of homemade birthday cake for ds which has also resulted in me having brain fog and a funny head. It could be coincidental or psychosomatic but I'm blaming the gluten!

Small food shop of £6.07, found some GF treats reduced from £2 to 50p then they scanned at 38p. Will try some tomorrow and go back for more if they're nice. High in protein too so a good snack for me.

Ds took car to garage for fuel reward for recommending someone who bought a car so his tank is filled up again.

Was thrown a curveball today regarding some academic study, I am seeing it as a sign not to pursue it and endure a year of hell!

A bit headachey tonight so just a quick update.

Couple of Tilly tidies over last couple of days, 62p and 48p.

Vanguard transfer has gone through. According to Charles Stan I've been sent £9 via bacs but I don't recognise the account number they have paid it to!

Lawn treatment done today, piano tuned yesterday. Tuner said it's only going to be suitable up until grade 4 so should keep us going for a number of years.

100 points on YouGov this evening so should hit payout before Christmas on there. That payment will definitely be going off the mortgage! Surveys are too hard work just to fritter away the payout, I still can't get accepted by pin3c0ne but am not giving up!

Just popping in quickly. Having a good Friday so far.

    10points on y0ugov and a 50p Tilly tidy.

Have quite a few little jobs to do this weekend and should probably make a 'to do' list. Definitely need to find my walking trousers and walking boots.

Am already hoping the weekend doesn't go too quickly!

Busy day so far which has left me just wanting to sit and relax. Went to the gym at 9am and did a leg workout. Pushed myself to increase weights again and am now feeling the burn! Only on 11,400 steps though so can't sit down for too long!

Managed to sort through a lot of professional paperwork today and everything is finally organised. I seem to have lost a couple of books after having to move everything from old office but it's nothing that can't be replaced. They may even turn up.

Hoovered and mopped downstairs and have 2 loads of washing on the line and some washing on heated airer which dh got out of the shed. We haven't had the heating on yet and clothes aren't really drying inside.

Have also looked at mortgage deals again and am decided on Fd 2.05% 5 year fix. It has a £490 fee but I used the MSE calculator to compare that and two other mortgages and it works out the best for us. Also gives us an opportunity to overpay as much as possible on such a low rate.

Paid lawn care bill and have checked other savings etc. Need to approve an account with vanguard so will try and do that tomorrow. The website seems more straightforward to use than CS so will try and sort it tomorrow.

I'm still so far behind on so many diaries! Need to rectify that.

It is much easier to use isn't it, also minimum monthly commitment is less than CS.

Yesterday didn't feel particularly productive. Took the children to the gym whilst dh did some overtime, I did upper body workout then we all went swimming aswell. It was busy and someone had pinched most of the dumb bells so I had to increase my weights, smashed it though!

I don't feel like I'm getting enough self care st the moment, I feel I'm always doing something so took some time yesterday to just sit and read. This is something I need to do more of.

Ate an egg custard over the weekend. Result was a headache and impact on digestive system. The trial continues......

We are in the pre payday lull. Not a lot left in main account but food account looking healthy. I say a lull but it's 2 full weeks until payday! Clicks done on tcb (turns out it's 2 a week not 2 a day!) if tcb starts paying out soon at least I'll be able to Tilly tidy!

House feeling much colder but resisting the temptation of the heating. Main rooms are warm but I really noticed how cold it was in the hall when I took the children to bed last night. Guess we don't sit in the hall though! Lit the big ring on the job this morning to take chill off the kitchen (must have picked this tip up from my childhood where we didn't have central heating or double glazing!)
