  • I've taken advantage of a few of these deals so far and they've all been honoured although I've gone for a max of 2 but I don't see why you wouldn't get more :)

Edit Sorry didn't see last last post :( if you see any more like that try 1 or 2 as I've got them so far :)

I was going to get 2 but would have had to pay postage. Hope the deal has worked for some though as they were a bargain!

In the last few days I have submitted a cashback claim for each of us as CB for opening a bank account suddenly disappeared! Also contacted broadband provider about a pre-paid cc we were supposed to receive.

Dd doesn't want to continue piano lessons, she's only had two and enjoyed them both! Such a shame as she has a natural talent. I'm not paying out for lessons she won't go to though especially if she is secretly not enjoying it! Is this what children do with activities? Be fickle?

£25 food shop so hopefully our spends are final for the month. Have some extra cash now there are no piano lessons to pay for so should be able to make another payment off cc!

  • If it were me...I would just jolly and brisk her along to piano...at least for a couple of weeks.
  • I'm with SHS, but then if doesn't take, cut your losses.

Unfortunately she is fiercely adamant she isn't going. I have suggested learning together for now on y0utub3. We wot be starting anything new anyway!

Financially, a quiet end to the month. Cancelled a direct debit this week so if that doesn't go out as hoped I will have another £35 to throw at the cc.

In other news, MIL's! dH has a lovely mil, but mine has really annoyed me! It's the way she ignores the children and makes it clear how much she does for the other grandchildren. Just wish she would keep it to herself than flaunt it. My children are amazing, she's missing out.

  • Tell me about it. My BFs parents havent seen miniocc in about 5 years (long story) and mine prioritise my sister (single mum) as I think they think she needs more help. They see him once a week but it's pretty obvious from what they say they're always with my niece.

He doesn't care tbh but it would be nice to get a bit of help sometime. They don't get that 2 people working full time jobs, sometimes lots of travel and staying away might need assistance like a single person working 2 days per week in an office 9-5.

I really must not get started on the grandparents st this time of the morning, i could rant all day!

Maddening isn't it. I just don't want to fall out with DH over it but I currently feel like not attending an upcoming family event. Guess I just man up and go along to keep the peace?
