    Isn't it just!
I've been gone two minutes and you've decimated your CC bills! You're unstoppable Cath!

Looks like Aldi have stopped their vouchers at the mo, we've had a 2 month break. Lidl have started a similar offer, but I'm not so fussed on their food. Will give you a heads up if I see any advertised

Thanks PD. No idea how we have managed it but great to see that figure tumble.

Plan is minimal @ldi shop then do bigger shop to be delivered Weds using £8 voucher for mr s and securing £1 delivery slot. Just need to work out how to manage racing around @ldi tomorrow with both children in tow. To save my sanity I may wait for DH to get home!

Looking forward to payday tomorrow, making final payments of the month, updating figures and setting new goals.

Today wasn't nearly as stressful as I feared - maybe I am getting better at my job after all. I'm still rewarding myself with wine tomorrow though!

    I can't wait Norfolkdream.

Yikes Al, would a nanny be cheaper? Teacher friends of ours have one and it works out a lot cheaper for them.

DH wages in and a little disappointing as I can't see any overtime. Will check his payslip when he gets home and solve the mystery. However I still have been able to send some extra funds to the cc. I have left us with £40 cash for a fortnight. Doesn't sound very much but we actually spend very little day to day. May need £10 ish for lunches for dd and the rest gets very slowly frittered.

I have updated my sig to show June figures and we are well on track to hit yearly target. 5 months in we have paid off 49% which is really pleasing. I have also worked out that this month we reduced our WIOTW figure by £1577!! Considering our income is around £2750 that has me wondering how on earth we achieved it! :j

Have had a look at what I would like to achieve in June. Using our most basic income I can free up £327 to pay off the cc. I would however like to find another £208 on top of that in order to reduce WIOTW figure by another £1000 this month.

This £208 will have to come from DH overtime and nursery cost savings but should be do-able. :)

Well this has been an odd week. Lots of time off work but I feel absolutely drained. I have not run all week which frustrates me but I can't find the energy to do it. My mum is also unwell so have been visiting and supporting her daily to make sure she is ok. Weather has been dreadful and we have done nothing nice as a family all weekend. Feel like it has been a week of simply plodding. Perhaps time off work is the problem so I will get back to it this week!

    However, the MF dream continues.....

Food shop was £45 which is great considering we have increased the budget and don't seem to be needing it. I have submitted gas and electricity meter readings and our payments are on track. In fact we are paying slightly too much but I'm not going to amend it. Considering anytime of the year can resemble November I can't rely on the Summer months to be of low usage! :rotfl:

DH is making a roast chicken dinner and we will be having stirfry the next couple of days. We should be able to avoid a supermarket trip the rest of the week as I cleverly picked up milk when I nipped out for more wine yesterday.

If I can get away with a no spend few days I will be delighted!

Now I am doing this clutter free thingymebob I feel even more that if I sit down for a few hours I could have done something constructive in that time but on the other hand I feel like I deserve the free time to do nothing, although doing nothing gets you nowhere lol arrghh.

Also with the food shop I have been really bad this month, have had more takeaways than normal as I am so tired. I need to get back into the slow cooker mode.

BTW so jealous of your floor plans, your house is going to be HUGE!

Hope your blood sugars are behaving themselves? Long distance running can really take it out of you. I found it to be one of the few fringe benefits of being relatively fit, but a bit overweight at the same time. I could easily burn 2k+ calories during a half marathon :o

I have had a quick look at the KM method but need to actually do something about it. We seem to spend every weekend decluttering but clearly we are not getting very far with it!

Re the house, the new plans we have found seem like a no brainer. Need to get the cc paid off so we can make a start :)

Thanks Ed, I have a few moments where I crave sugar so could be low ish but no major problems this week. I don't eat right for training at all, used to go out first thing with old 2 cups of coffee in my system. I have no idea how to carb load etc, I should probably look into it.

    Do you still run Ed?

Thanks MF, it's worth being frugal isn't it when you realise how far you have come. Your efforts at blasting the mortgage are great too, you seem to generate great bits of extra income.
