Up to 985 on GTM, I bet I get stuck there!
Spent the rest of my gift card I got from work yesterday so was nice to have a little treat as I rarely buy myself anything. Also bought a couple more Christmas presents. We actually don't have many more to buy and we have really cut back over the last couple of years.
Need to look into booking the pantomime aswell, DD will love it!
Am going to arrange a small OP today as have money on its way from TCB and paypal. I need to OP £250 to knock off another month and it would be nice to tidy up my OP balance!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Ohhh I used to love just paying a little bit off the mortgage to get the figure down. I kind of miss oping now the mortgage has gone! Transfering money to savings just doesn't have the same thrill!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

I think i'd rather be MF but I know what you mean! I was nosing on rightmove before and found a 'mansion' for sale near me. If i could convince DM to buy in we could afford it!
Another item decluttered - £4 made! Set up an OP of £22 to go out.
Need to do an online shop and am tempted to use Mr A as TCB are offering £12 cashback.
Microsoft office has gone from my laptop since having it 'fixed'. BIL may be able to put a copy on for us but if not I have looked into buying a copy and am horrified at the cost! I can't open my SS and probably can't open Pammy's house either. :mad:June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
I *think* that you may be able to get a cheap version through your work, possibly, look on the microsoft website. I did and it works fine. Maybe it's just teachers, but I didn't think it was that restrictive, it was £25 for the whole of office. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

Thank you, I did look into the student thing but you needed to provide evidence that you were studying at least part time. BIL has installed it for us now. I was only on a trial version before as it wouldn't accept the product key so my SS actually looks a little fancier. :j
Redeemed from GTM so hopefully i'll receive the cheque before Christmas. Am also back up to 55 points on there, sometimes the surveys just keep coming.
Opened savings account (6% regular saver) for DS and changed DD's to the same one. Also increased SO for their savings and will keep increasing it as we can afford it. I think times might be difficult when my children are hoping to go to uni, buy property etc.
Also enquired about DH's pension as we were hoping to transfer on old company one into stakeholder and had loads of problems trying to do so but the bank seem to think it can be done. Although they haven't phoned me with an appointment like they said they would.
DH was going to take DD to a local firework display but it's pouring down. Instead we watched it out of DD's bedroom window!
Decluttered another item today:) - £3 made!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
So far this morning have redeemed £10 from mysurvey and a £10 voucher from ip505 (my first one!) Also managed 2 surveys on TCB last night but need to keep remembering to do them daily!
Not much planned today but a local garden centre are opening their christmas dept and offering children's face painting which dd might enjoy. Shows how close Christmas is - is it 7 weeks?June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
I think my Christmas shopping is almost done! Still a few people to buy for but think I have enough vouchers to get them. Managed to top up my TCB account yesterday so my steady trickle of income from there is going well.
Have played around with mortgage spreadsheet as I think we will go onto a fixed rate next year and the results are pleasing. That way I can reduce the term and still make OP's as we can afford them.
Currently have 2 sleeping children, not quite sure how I managed that!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
