Oh my word! I don't think I could reliably get dressed everyday for at least 6 weeks after Gherkin.

    Good luck!

DD has had a PJ day today and Alex just wears babygros. He's big enough and won't be a baby for long so don't want him in outfits for a while!

Midwife has been, Alex is 6 days old, exclusively breastfed and is 1oz less than birthweight - she was very impressed!! My body is almost back to normal too! Weighing myself in the morning.

I promise not to overdo it, DH is in work again today and then off for 2 weeks. I can't wait!

    SSS will post it soon.

Well, my baby is a week old, I am back to pre-pregnancy weight and in my size 12 jeans - am pretty chuffed!!

Registered his birth today and sent off CB form. Am ringing tax credits tomoro - apparantly their systems were down since last friday! Can they get anything right?

I keep making 'to do' lists, crossing things off when done but the list doesn't get any shorter. House a bit tidier today as DH at home. It was easy to run round and do stuff while he was with the children.

Spent far too much in Mr S, a gift had been duplicated for baby so exchanged that for a blanket then spotted some lovely wellies and a minnie mouse dressing gown for DD (she had minnie mouse slippers last week from disney shop) so she was pretty chuffed at the £20 spend!

DD in nursery for 4 hours tomorrow so hoping to visit manager who will interview me and get some more prep done.

Alex being very good, DH and I even managed to watch a film last night as he fell asleep at 7:30pm for a few hours and has just done the same again!

Fairly constructive day after a not so easy night.

Baby is very good and last 2 nights has fallen asleep at 7:30 for about 2.5 hours which is lovely. I went to bed at 9:30 but hadn't fallen asleep by the time DH brought him up for a feed at 10am. I think he fed pretty much constantly till 2am then! I want to start expressing soon so that perhaps DH could do the 10pm feed now and again but don't want to mess up supply etc.

He's having a good nap now so I have done some more interview prep - just one big question I think they may ask which i need to make some notes on. Am going to see the manager on thursday. I have managed to do some surveys, more tidying (dining table becoming more noitcable!), sorted paperwork etc, phoned tax credits (I have no idea what our entitlement will be but we currently only get £41 a month.

Also have requested £2.76 from TCB and have £2.52 from Amazon on its way so that will go straight as an OP.

I just can't wait for Monday as if I get this new job our finances will change dramatically!

Am feeling a bit sleepy but can never nap in the day so think i might see if I can completely tidy the dining table - might even give it a polish!

Definitely want to hear your birth story when you're ready to share. You are making me feel a little inadequate with your return to pre-pregnancy clothes, and your ability to get up and out within a few days. Took me ages to feel on top of things with DD (and a lttle longer to lose the weight, :o2 years if I recall!). Hope the interview went well and fingers crossed for the job.
