Loving the sounds of the extension. I wish I could put an extension on the back of my house. Sounds like you have a lovely plot there. The new house we were going to buy was on a big plot. I really need to get over losing that house lol.
Good luck for hubby finding out about the job tomorrow and bet you cant wait for the 4D scan, They are really expensive though arent they??

Good to see you here Pammy
I am excited about the extension but funding it will be a slow process. I do have pretty good wage increases to come in the next few years though but we are doubling our childcare bill shortly! Hope DH does get the job tomorrow, the other one has fallen through (maybe a blessing in disguise) and I really think his current boss is bullying him. She is also making personal comments about myself and DD whilst DH is in work. I think we need to keep a diary of her outbursts!
Scan was nice but we didn't see as much as we hoped. Ideally scans are performed between 26 and 32 weeks as baby is too big to see much after that. Did get some pics though (which I will put on facebook). However, sonographer was shocked at size of baby and double checked with me how far along I am. I am 32 weeks tomorrow and baby already weighs 5lb 3oz!!!! I am now quite worried about giving birth to a huge baby. I don't measure big for dates, have no stretch marks and have only gained 8lb so you could say I am 'all baby'. We paid £85 for the scan and I'm a little disappointed as we saw very little as baby's head is right down and obviously it was like scanning a lady much further along in pregnancy. He was also asleep!!
Popped to Mr S for a few things earlier and spent £61!! luckily I remembered I had a £6 off £60 voucher as I didn't dream of spending that much so almost forgot I had it.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

Invested £8 on friday and won £3 (prev thought I'd won £6)
Played 3 lines last night and won £10 so i'll transfer that back to current account to go off scan. Didn't want to put it on CC as it will just stay there but I think we will go OD for a few days before payday. I had wondered where all my money had gone but realised TC and CB are due a few days before payday.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Sold another DVD on Amazon so have posted that today. I have 3 payments due from them now!
We are hoping to hear from DH's job interview today but there is another job he is going to apply for aswell. I wish we could afford for him to be a SAHD, he works in a poorly paid profession and is such a brilliant daddy. DD often breaks her heart when he goes to work.
Am nearly at payout on Mysurvey so hoping to claim Amazon voucher soon and the same on BP.
I want to buy a cot mobile for baby and think mothercare have some good deals and codes available so have been browsing there. Think I need to test them out in store though. I also need a few bits and pieces for my hospital bag. Michelle did you say you can get washable breastpads? I used to go through soooo many!
Also my bump has dropped a lot and baby's head feels right down! I think he's running out of room! I'm 32 weeks todayJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Wow, so exciting!
I used washable breast pads, got them off ebay for a fraction of the price (the avent ones) they are great.
I also got a cot mobile off ebay, one as a gift and one from the charity shop!! 2 went back on ebay!! I bought loads of stuff second hand - hardly used- off ebay.
Good luck with the news on the job - fingers crossed.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

I am an ebay fan! Will have a look but if postage bumps up I will buy off Amazon as I have vouchers so it will end up being free (i will forget the hours spent answering surveys!) I got a sling on ebay earlier for £2 and they live in my town so I can go and collect! Also just sold a rainmac on a selling page I got off ebay for a lot cheaper. Ooooh, I will soon have my extension!
Will check out ebay for the other bits and pieces though. Started taking Raspberry leaf tea today aswell. It all seems so close now!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
I randomly checked DH TCB account earlier as all we are waiting on is £25.25 to come through from the lovefilm trial we did, well it was payable so I have just requested that. I've actually lost track of what money is due to me! I think I am expecting:
Amazon ~£50
GTM ~£30
TCB £25.25
I do have some money in my paypal account but I am watching some good cot mobiles on ebay so will leave it in there for that.
Not done much today, I am really tired - DD woke 4 times in the night (i didn't hear as DH got up to settle her) so I got up with her at 6am. She then lay down for about an hour as she was tired! I was trying to eat my breakfast and obviously wasn't quiet enough as she remarked 'you woke me up then, I'm tying to sleep' - cheeky little madam I have there!!
Actually this reminds me of something I have to share! We were in town on Sunday after the scan and there were a couple of boys (maybe aged 4 and 6) with their dad. She stood there grinning at them and said 'i wanna see the boys!' she isn't even 3 and she is keeping us on our toes!
No news on DH's job interview yet.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
