Orange - making me see red!

LEAVE ORANGE WHILE YOU CAN! If your contract is up go elsewhere. They spend millions and millions on fancy adds and promotions and when it comes down to customer service for they couldn't give a dam. In August I received a data romaing charge bill for TEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS which turned out to only be under £50 .... No apology no compensation and they only took an interest when I threatened them with asking the press to get me some answers. I asked them to cancel all my family Orange accounts and they told me I would be held in breach of contract! I billed them £900 for the time it took me to prove it was not my liability and surprise surprise when the boots on the other foot they are not interested. I hope that as many people as possible take my story as a warning and go to another provider. " Orange is committed to customer care" don't make me laugh!Ginger_Boots wrote: »Can anyone help with giving me a name or number for someone senior at Orange!!
I've been with then since they launched in the UK around 1995....by mobile phone customer terms that makes me uber-loyal....I should get a gold watch from them.
My contract is due for renewal in a few weeks....so I'm trying to upgrade to a Blackberry 9700 bold.
Whatever tariff I move to, that phone will cost me £149.99.....if I walk into a shop or use their website as a new customer I get it for free on a £25 a month contract!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The poor call centre staff are being very apologetic but their hands are genuinely tied by their systems....
Orange used to match tariffs by other providers and genuinely give a monkeys about their customers, but not now.
Anyone else had this issue, and what's the advice....should I finally leave them?
Also, any got any experience of Vodafone and their service that guarantees mobile phone signals at home...I live in the sticks and need to get a provider than lets me get a signal at home.
*sigh*.....mobile schmobile0 -
We get it, we get it, you don't like Orange because they made a mistake.
You don't need to keep telling us.0
