9 days till I open the Jar. wow im sadly excited!! Im really hoping for £500 to pay off a chunk off my credit card. But with xmas its bumped it up anyways. So its probably been pointless but still it will be great to count it all. Going to get a new tin from home bargains this week to start all over again. Its great to open it and have no idea how much is there!
Not doing much this week, Gettin paid on thursday so looking to do this as ive spent already on xmas using my o/d again. plan has changed to
£850 Bills
£250 for my general spends
£500 to pay my overdraft back
That adds up to £1600 hopefully if I get paid a bit extra I will put that towards my O/d As well. I have no idea where I am withmy o/d to be honest I went a bit nuts shopping on saturday. Ahhhh carp.Total debt £17,135 total paid off £5250 -

I had £25 from halifax from an overpayment on my morgage in 2008?!? what the hell happened there?! but at least they giving me money haha.
Bring on wednesday. If Ive got £500 I would pay 300 off my overdraft so thats gone, then £200 off my barclaycard, it would be £2800. nice to see it in the 2000's intstaed of 3!!Total debt £17,135 total paid off £5250 -
hi there just read through your threa
In these tough times it is hard to crack on with debt busting. So well done with paying off what you have.
One thought would be to keep an eye out on freecycle/gumtree/freegle if you need to replace things in your home. Or other things like clothes. freecycle and freegle, things get offered for free you just have to go and pick things up. Might help not get more credit if something breaks.
Other than that another job seems the way forward.
One other thing. How are you dividing the bills between you and your partner. Is it 50 50 or as a proportion of your wages?
If you are earning about the same money, then 50 50 is probably fine. But if he earns 3 times as much as you, then maybe he should be paying proportionately more of the household expenses?
Just a thought
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hi Apples,
I have been reading through and looks like you have the same up's and down's as me. I seem to really peak around payday but mid month I am all over the place.
I have recently signed up to peopleperhour . com. It is a freelance website but I cannot recommend as I have yet to have any work through it yet. Hopefully this will generate a little bit though so not sure if it helps you. I am also in the process of signing up with Excel to work on chat lines. Well I am hoping to! My husband is fine because it will get us out of debt quicker lol! Not sure if these kind of jobs will be any good for you - I only work part time as I care for our son so am looking for evening "work from home" jobs to top us up a bit really.
Have subscribed and looking forward to following the progress
