I have the tefal steam generator iron the 2950 - was half price in argos at approx £100.its brilliant. i would never go back to an ordinary iron .The best money i ever spent. you can steam clothes on the hanger without even using the ironing board.i had the Iron in the box for over a week thinking could it possibly be worth all that money.....FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0

I have a Morphy Richards and, although the cord is long enough to reach the end of the ironing board when the generator is placed where you would ordinarily put the iron, it wouldn't be long enough if the generator was placed on the floor. With most models the iron rests on the top part of the generator though so no need to put on floor.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
