Hi, advice please.
What steam iron/generator do you use and how good is it and (if you can remember) how much?
Any disadvantage with a steam generator and are they worth the extra?
want to replace the ageing steam iron and know nothing about steam generators. Are they just a passing fad or are they that good.
Just the two of us wrinklies but since OH works (And I'm totally U/S when it comes to that task) I would like to get her something that would be as easy to use and effective.
Please post your opinions - they are all welcome.
Thanks.
Riz

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

Got a steam generator - Tefal Express - £90 ish from comet online.
Wife would not be without it - reduces the ironing time in half. She suffers with arthritis and would not go back to a normal iron now.0 -

What's an iron? The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0

I drop my clothes on the floor and a few days later they appear in the wardrobe or one of the various draws arround the bedroom.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

None if at all possible. But otherwise, the cheapest steam iron with squirty button.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
