Still going here too - cheese sandwiches yesterday and today (was off work Monday) and going to make up a big vat of soup tonight with allotment veggies, which should keep me going til Friday!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I've still not used my 2 lunches this month, and don't intend to either! This challenge has been great, it's definitely made me stop and think before going down to the overpriced canteen or McD's. Today I'm having leftover pork & mustard casserole with a bag of that "2 min" microwaveable rice. I have some lentil soups in the freezer too!Proud to be dealing with my debts"Everyone who got to where they are had to begin where they were." Richard Paul Evans0

I've been taking in cheese and pickle with salad sandwiches for the last two days, I'm off today and there's just one more day left for September lunches. I've gone one over and had 3 shop bought lunches when I set myself a target of 2, which I feel is okay.
I am getting more prepared and stocking up at work, I've gone and got myself a few tins of Macaroni cheese, 58p each at tescos, though only in the bigger stores they don't have them in the expresses or metros. I really enjoyed the last one nice and hot after 4 mins in the microwave and very filling too.Nearly debt free

Just for the days when your really not organised 'i have a few'. Tesco's have Innocent Lunch Veg Pots on offer for £1.74 (normally £3)....they're tasty, low in fat and if you bulk buy, can be frozen for that odd unorganised day!
That was my first bought lunch today in a week and a bit, not bad going for me if I do say so myself!Debt Free and Business Owner Wannabe

I'll be officially starting this in October as I've already missed most of the month but thanks to peoples tips I've managed not to spend anything at work for the last 4 days apart from a bacon sandwich I just had to have because everyone else was getting one! Saved a small fortune already I would think!0

The end is nigh! I've done it.......no bought lunches for the whole of Sept. I've got packet pasta with me today and some bits of fruit from the fruitbowl at home. One of the sales reps brought a box of shortbread into the office so if I'm still hungry I can dig into that, hubby is working til 10 and so am I so i'll have to hang around mcdonalds (the only place open at that time of night) for him to pick me up but I know I wont succum as their food is vile and i've not come across an employee yet who can work the hot drinks machine well enough to create something that could pass as coffee or hot chocolate. Trying to avoid spending as i'm soon to be leaving job no2 in favour of concentrating on ebay & boot sales to shift the backlog of junk that I see £, everytime I have to look at it.0

Well done on no bought lunches MissW2J!
I'm afraid I didn't get around to making that vat of soup last night so today will be my second bought lunch in September - still though 16/18 isn't too bad! Think I'm going to aim for 17 in October, which leaves me three work days on which I can have something bought.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
