I don't think I would have got to the end of this without everyone's contributions, and of course where would we be without the awesome reniannen. I did make a small contribution to this one, but there have been many months when I hadn't got a clue.
If you do win, raise a glass :beer:to your fellow lunatics who could probably have entered 100's of comps with possibly a far better return than £250 if they'd given this one a miss.
Couldn't agree more. I think that this one is more fun than entering hundreds where the return is better, but you are just form filling.
As someone else once said, the MSE Comps forum is a bit like a co-operative, where everyone helps in whatever way they can and hopefully, everyone gets something out of it, whether the something is a prize or a bit of fun. With this one, I do look forward to the fun of it every month.0 -

Hope you'll forgive me quoting again, but I couldn't have put this any better :T (apart from the bit about me because I'm notbut thank you
:o)
I think it's a lovely gesture kragen and I can understand why you might want to, as I've felt that way myself sometimes, but I, and I think most on here, help out because we want to, hoping for a win but not expecting any return! I want to give back to other posters for all the effort they put into this forum and the wonderful wins I've had. If I had a problem with anyone taking my answers and winning the prize I'd keep them to myselfBut as I said before, I might have got bits but I wouldn't have got the whole without everyone else's contributions, and I wouldn't have got previous cashhunt answers without everyone else. It's only in the last few months I seem to have got the feel for them.
Most importantly on this thread, like marg2k8, I enjoy it! I know I've got a slim chance of winning, but the buzz I get from managing to solve even a little bit of a clue keeps me coming back - I think that does make me a certifiable lunatic lol
If any mse'er wins I'd say congrats and happy spending!

I completely agree with the previous posts, it's lovely of you to think of everyone though kragen_ironfist! :T
I really got a buzz from figuring out the shape bit last night, so I know exactly what you mean reniannenfirst time I've actually managed to be of any proper help on these cash hunts!
It's the fun of knowing we're all helping each other that keeps bringing me back even if I can't figure it out, we might just nudge each other in the right direction by seeing the clues as meaning different things, which just sets a tiny seed of thought and it spirals from there!
Out of interest, does anyone know of anything else like this (without prizes, otherwise it would have been posted!!) so I can test my brain out a bit more ready for next month?? :rotfl:

If you didn't do these ones in the past, you could always pick one of the old ones and try that.0 -
