Pippa if that skirting boards bothering u get some new it's cheap a chips for such a small area :-) and u will really feel u have done that part. I decided make do diy was not helping and if I was doing diy I was doing it proper as in saving the excess and sorting the rooms ye it does feel naughty doing that but since I'm making a good dent each month I feel ok about it :-) I think average deduction is 1100 paid per month off so I cAnt complain. The next rooms are bathroom and kitchen il be saving for them and waiting till it's warmer again before I touch bathroom and boiler just on case lol. Or at least when I have some holdsy haha. sounds like OH is doing really well now. How lovely of him to take the worry off but to be fair I would have been doing the same as you. You need to be armed with information to know how to deal with things when they hit. Just see it as a bit of research and dont stress over it.
I think you should come to my house, clean floors and chamomile cleaner sound just lovely. Eating my tea right now whilst also typing. Pippa, sounds like things are a little wobbly for you at the moment but your determination is admirable. I love your no messing attitude and I am sure that things will work themselves out for you.
I have just started reading a book that I think is Insp Rebus, it is by Elizabeth George. Finding it a bit hard to get into at the moment. I think my mind is too full of stuff to settle to read.
