    Finally got a reply:
The only additional code I have been sent for Bush is 1436
If this code does not work for you, then I can only suggest that you
take the Bubble back to the place of purchase and obtain a refund of
your money on it, as no code has been assigned to your dvd player by the
    manufacturers I'm afraid.
Haven't tried it yet, but as I have a DVD recorder/video combi, it looks like it won't work anyway. Can't remember seeing anything in the adverts about it not working on these machines though so that might have been useful.

I'll have to check the return policy on it in terms of number of days as it was bought before Christmas and they have taken so long to reply it means I've had it for quite a while now. Don't fancy having to pay to return it though, so if it comes to that, the other option is ebay I guess :(

I have been trying to get my bubble to work since Christmas for my 2 and 4 Yr olds. We have tried 5 different DVD players and none will work with the console.

Have spoken to Bandai customer services (extremely unhelpful on every occasion) who claim the Bubble upgrade cartridge does not exist to help with new codes.

They also told me that the company making the Bubble (Bandai are only the distributer) have pulled out of the Pre-School market, and no more Bubbles will be made nor will they be developing any of the games that are still deemed to be coming soon on the worldofbubble.com site - so if anyone out there is thinking of buying one still (which I would strongly advise against) DON'T!!!

With ref to the goodmans enquiry from theresa60 - try the codes for Alba, Bush, Grundig and Ferguson. They are apparently manufactured by the same factory and according to Bandai these codes might work. Hope this helps someone.

If anyone has any ideas out there for codes for Daewoo or Proline that aren't listed would be most grateful.

I have to finally come down on the side of the negative posters. I've tried this a few times now with 3 of the 5 games and its pretty poor. My little one wants to play Noddy exclusively and that game simply doesn't work - it jumps to odd parts of the story, doesn't allow button input when it should and doesn't recognise them when it does. It's unplayable. The speed of response of DVD games is poor and the "away play" is extremely hit and miss.

They take a while to reply but if you have sent your address they will post a disc out to you. There is a phone number on the bottom of the box if you prefer to ring 01489 790 944

I think "did anyone get this working" would be more apt ... we bought 2 and ended up returning one, and throwing the other away. Waste of money.

I got a slimline ps2 just for it. Will that not work either? Someone must be getting them working as games are still selling well on ebay. I am determined to get this blinking thing working!
  • We haven't got a Wii but we've had it working with 2 different DVD players, an older Pioneer one and a new Sony DVD recorder, so not everyone's is broken! I had to go about halfway down the list in the manual before I found a code that worked with the Sony though.
