Has anyone been able to contact Bandai lately? I emailed them the make and model of my DVD and asked about codes as none of the ones listed worked - that was last week and I still haven't had a reply. I haven't really had a chance to phone them and was worried about how long you are on for if you do phone.

I rang them on Thursday - "approximately" 1.50pm ;) - got through no problem to reception, but they said that "customer services" was out at lunch and would ring me back later. I'm still waiting. I rang back again yesterday after 2 (assuming they'd be back from lunch by then), but apparently they're only open until 1pm on a Friday. Grrrr.

I did send an e-mail as well, but have had no reply. Not a happy camper.

I'm very unimpressed with the bubble, imho its a load of junk and I will be taking mine back. I was confused by it, let alone my 3 year old.
I wouldn't advise anyone else to buy it to be honest.

I totally agree my daughter is 3 and I think it is naff, their is no way she could understand this it is a terrible piece of kit!!

We can only get one game to work the teletubbies and then it freezes half way through when my daughter tries to play the animal game.
it will not load up anyother game it just gives me the ! in a red circle.

wrt the teletubbies game, try skipping the game by pressing the forward button and pressing the star button to play again. I found that the games sometimes stick if I go to it from the menu but if I 'play again' it works fine. It's worth sitting down one night and playing through them all. It's tedious but means you can find ways of making it work.

I'm not surprised Bandai have discontinued it. I'm happy with the console @ £15 plus £5 for the games. But if I'd paid £60 I would have taken it back. It can't be worth them making them for that price!

If its of interest to anyone, we took our two bubbles (got one for a family member) back to "instore" this week and it was no problem.

For info, I had a fault with my bubble. when I switched on all I got was the start-up tone and then the green, blue and down-arrow lights flashing. I eventually found out from the original manufacturer that this was an error code for a stuck key.

I removed the four arrowed screws from the back which allowed the face-plate to be lifted off. I then found that behind the buttons is a peg with a rubber cap. On one of my buttons this cap wasn't seated correctly so I reseated it, reassembled and then the bubble worked flawlessly.

I had erratic behaviour before this, so if you are experiencing problems and you sometimes switch on only to get the flashing lights I mentioned above, take a look at the buttons and check they are all seated correctly.

Well I finally got to speak to their customer support yesterday and basically they said tough. The faulty one I'll have to return to the shop (Amazon - cost me over £8 postage, although I'll get that back), and the other one that won't work with their DVD machine - basically she said they're not getting any more codes and, as theirs is a DVD recorder, it won't work anyway.
  • hmmm. finally got my DD's bubble out she got for xmas, however I cannot even get it to switch on!!! Yes I have put batteries in it !! Does anyone have any advise or had the same problem?

Bought it in October but still have the receipt

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.
