  • I'd put my Superman suit on and jump on their bonnet next time I see them driving...

Do people still get away with this long term as in no tax etc?... The amount of ANPRS etc out and about you'd think they'd be caught out straightaway?
  • Unless the problem is affecting you directly, I would suggest you find a hobby to keep you away from the net curtains.

    I'm not a chav either.

oh dear, this is not net cutrain stuff, this is a work colleague who flaunts it about.

we are not talking about a month or so past dates, this is a 2 year + issue

they have 3 kids in this car, net curtains? i think it would be you not me who needed a new hobby

No, I just detest people who spend all day worrying about the actions of others.

I totally agree it's an issue that needs resolving, I don't like the guilt trip martyrdom of "I pay car insurance" I can assure you my cars are fully insured, taxed and tested. You, like me are in the majority, you're not special because you do I'm afraid.

Just write an anonoymus letter to the local cop shop if you will, but expect comeback if it's traced back to you.

    Regards,
    Andy

oh i certainly dont spend all day worrying about the actions of others, as per my above post this is a long term issue and as it popped into my head whilst i was on here last night, i thought i would ask

seriously for everyone that thinks i need to 'get a grip' just for asking the question, why did you waste as much time as i did answering it

    Mind your own business.

    There, job done.

As somebody who got a fine for loading a scrapped vehicle from my driveway onto a wagon, (parked on public road, for less than five minutes) by some busybody neighbour with precious little to do, I'd say keep well out the way.

    Regards,
    Andy

i am NOT a neighbour of this family

i am NOT a nosey neighbour of any other family

getting a fine in your circumstance was unfortunate, but to flaunt the law and have complete disregard for safety on a long term basis is a world away from your situation

    superman.............oh no

yes it has been like this for over 2 years, they lived out in the country and never took the vehicle into town, however have now moved and have no driveway

That sounds unfortunate and harsh, but if an uninsured driver wrote your car off I expect you would see it differently.
